The answer to all of this......They are flying 110-115 KTS indicated with flaps 70%. I'm a HC-130 FE and I do this crap for a living. The helos have no probles Keeping up, and the 130 has no problem flying that slow............TAAAA-DAAAA......
Ok 'nuther question. The E model has three engines. The engine instruments are in a cluster in the middle all the way down the panel. One one row there are FOUR instruments, one of which appears to be reading flat or no reading or at least very different from the other three. Is it a standby or for the APU?
Those four guages have nothing to do with the engines. The outer two are the oil temps for the nose gearboxes infront of each engine. The middle one on the left is for the Main gearbox oil pressure, which normal pressure is somewhere around 5 or 6 psi. The middle guage on the right is the Main gearbox oil temp. So no its not for the apu or and engine. The outer two are placed where they are because those gearboxes are in front of the engines they are working off of.
Yeah you are right....Cant remember the normal oil press but I do remember that low oil press on mgb is 14 +- 2. HaHa how can anyone who has ever been a nugget forget that? I must have been intoxicated when I wrote the original! Shitters for life! Oh and canadian boy I have over 1200 mishap free flight hours in the type/model/series of Aircraft....dude

@cirvis1000
If that's true, then why did you ask the stupid question about why the co-pilot was shadowing the cyclic stick during re-fuelling?
Isn't it obvious?
You also show your lack of intelligence by not being able to hold a sensible conversation without becoming aggressive and swearing.

The 53E has 3 engines, so it can still flight with one engine off, its an honest question for someone who doesn't know.
