Hi there. The violin player is Dougie Maclean who is best known for composing the well loved song 'Caledonia.'

Just proves what a class act he is when he can compose great songs but can also play violin and guitar in a way that really just makes the music come alive.

Well worth listening to his other music asides Caledonia.
