I started playing WoW on Arthas (US). Supplies were still being gathered at that time but I remember my friends Gallic about the event. I was level 15 or so when it happened. Its a shame this was the only purpose of the Silithus zone. Then they tried to make World PvP in like 1.12 or something. Blizzard definitely needs to do another world event like this. It really was an exciting time. I remember watching the supply meters on the site and everything.

Well i think that's what they were aiming for. I like the fact that OS is so simialar to Onyxia and that 25 man t7 looks similar to t3. They basically made the game feel more like pre BC and I've come to really enjoy it.

Personally, I think its just Blizzard being lazy, a few more armor sets shouldnt be too hard to model, especially if they are getting £9 a month from 12 million subscribers..

Look at the recent teirs. 8 plate is all the same model, as is 9. What Blizzard are saying is that they want raids to look very similar to make it look like a joint effort against the Lich King. Personally, its an excuse. A nice idea, but an excuse for laziness.

It was one of the few world events that blizzard made. Just prep for opening took months. You had to gather like 39k iron bars just for one horde quest. Each faction used the WoW forums to communicate, and well, it took shit loads of time. It was awesome but ow blizzard made the game s easy a retarded monkey could throw shit at it and hit 80. They even got rid of the world raid encounters to cater to the dipshits who QQ'ed about getting killed by them.

Before the burning crusade, all wow servers had their gates opened. Ghostlands came out after the release of the burning crusade, and thus the gates were closed untill when the event in the video happened.

Once BC was released, new servers were opened up. All the new servers came with the AQ gates closed, whereas all the old servers had the AQ gates opened before the BC. Hope that makes sense.
