Absolutely brilliant. Although i felt you could have continued with the music at the end for a couple more seconds and faded out- i think it would fit in more with the atmosphere.
So far, I love it. And I think the earth is good blue- contrasts with the complete darkness of everything else.
@blowingbubbles2 Thanks for your response :D don't worry, the opening introduction goes beyond this point, I hadn't filmed it yet, so the music continues
I guess the general consensus is to keep the Earth blue, thanks all :D x
Quite chilling, I got goosebumps watching it. i have only one tiny criticism, near the start you talk about a sky without any stars, completely blank and dark and yet there are clearly stars in the accompanying visuals
it's really cool. I love the gothic feel to your paper animations, very haunting indeed. Is this in any way related to your "Killing Moon" video? Because it seems like they could possibly fit together in some weird cosmic way.
@slugworth118 I'll keep it as an open option, it could be a sequel of sorts if you want it to be. The moon is a treacherous object in both videos, so who knows ;)
@nickgotto haha very nice, but I think the real question is does Nick Gott have a grudge against the moon? Either way, you do some brilliant stuff mate, keep it up!
@slugworth118 Youre not far off there I tell you, when I was younger I had a phobia of the moon, I thought I was a werewolf when I was 6. I just irrationally thought I was one, so didn't want to look at the moon. If this was a Freudian reading, he would say that my childhood fear of the moon is resurfacing into my work now :P
@nickgotto hmmm, very interesting...what do you even call that? "Lunarphobia"? Not to make this some psychological analysis or anything, but I've always believes that children do almost have some sort of "kinship" with the supernatural. I guess it's because their minds are more proned to imagine than logic. As for me, I had an irrational fear of aliens as a kid (Doctor Who fan now, go figure),but I was always trying to figure out how I would protect myself in an alien invasion. Very interesting.
Lovely scriptwriting and the atmosphere was immense and hypnotic!! Am really looking forward to this! :D
