I think you're suppose to use two magnets that create a magnetic field in between them that closes off the "circuit". This is just a regular motor, if it only has one magnet.

Is anyone generating power with the Newman motor? I see a lot of video's showing the Newman motor operating but not many except Joseph himself showing what it actually produces?

SteveMontuno------Use a battery. The capacitor was just to show that it also can be used. The Newman Motor doesn't care where it gets the energy from.

The way to go! What Voltage/Farad rating is the Capacitor pls? I have a 10 watt Solar Panel, won;t run the motor, but haven;t tried it with a cap yet.
