I live in Central IL, for us it has not worked, we do not have large bass around here though, i thinking somewhere in Florida or Texas, where double digit bass are not uncommon, i think this would work really good, maybe even up northe for big muskie and northern

@hookinfishonline Where at? I do a lot of fishing at Middle Fork Forest Preserve, Homer Lake, and Kennekuk and Kickapoo parks. Pretty good fishing there (except for Homer). Bass aren't very active at Homer. Middle Fork has three small ponds. The deepest (I think) is about 12 to 15 feet. Kickapoo has 22 ponds and Kennekuk has I think at least 10. Both used to be strip mines. They are deep! Thanks for the reply.
