  • filmed with a potato

  • Where do you get this "graphical" stuff? All i see in Boinc is the percentage of what is done...

  • @viciokas1993 Change your screensaver to Boinc and make sure your graphics settings are ready.

  • How do you know when you got a signal?

  • hey people how do i have to run the prg?i install it but i dont know what to do...

  • how i know when i picked up something??? good question ! & we should have a X price for the one who will analyse the discovery on its computer ! we will get 1000 times computersss around the world ! 10 Million $ should be attractive ! money is money

  • @GENH2 nobel prize you would probably get like 10cents

  • In the sound waves, how would u know when you picked up something??

  • It looks for particular patterns or regularities I guess, instead of just random noise.

  • Does it tell you what the noise is?? How do you find out??

  • Well the bars are representing the noise I think, and the idea is to try and find regularities within the bars. Not sure entirelly though, hehe.

  • El video está aburrido, pero creo y participo en el proyecto. AIAZISten <-- get info about it, 'cos u r the stupid...

  • OMG you're one stupid sonofabitc*

  • You wanna do something "useful"? Stop being such an ass and go do Rosetta or something similar...

On other thoughts, SETI is awesome!

  • que lo subtitulen en español

  • lol subtitular que? si ni hablan xD!

  • If that is the hard disk itself consitter getting a Seagate they seem to be quiet hard drives!

  • SETI = waste of money and time

  • So? It isn't your money so why do you give a shit?

  • Simple, because he's an idiot. Don't argue with him but he's like 80% of Americans: a Redneck. Here's the real deal:

  • Calculating how many stars there are in the galaxy, and how many planets there CAN be with life in each solar systems, and how old the universe is, hence how old a civilization has a potential for being (in other words: how long ago they begun to send radio signals into space), and finally imputing all these variables into the formula, the probability of pointing at a star and it containing life is on average 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (subject to change depending on variables).

  • However, by simply pointing towards each star system that fits SOME of the requirements for only a matter of seconds at a time, all day and all night, it would be surprising if we DIDN''T find life on another planet by the year 2025.

  • Is that your hard drive making the noise or the computer itself?

  • hard disk making the "clicking" sounds aye.
