  • Why does this guy wear t-shirts in his videos that are two sizes too small?

  • @MATTHEWYZ510 That is a size large...

  • Another great review from you guys@ STG. I ordered my blue and white SPX's a few days ago and now I'm even more excited to get them. Not to mention I'm even more sure that they're worth every cent. Thanks for your time guys keep up the great work.

  • @jlkohel911 You are welcome, enjoy the gloves!

  • Man, being in an accident can be contributed to one or more of the following things IMO:

    1) Piece of shit car driver who doesn't see you or is jealous of your bike

    2) The rider speeding, or perhaps not following road rules

    3) Being an idiot on the roads such as wheelies and whatever other stupid shit one does

    4) Road conditions; if too nasty take cover under a bridge or something but be sure you're out of harms way

    5) Road condition (example: tarmac), in addition crossings can be slippery

  • Just grabbed a set of these for $40!!!! Someone bought them and brought them back to the store as wrong size.

  • got them in black xl. use them for supermoto^^ nice gloves all the way

  • How do these compare to something like Icon's Merc short?

  • $89! I was look at them here and there £75 :(

  • I have these gloves, and they kick ass in the warm weather. These things vent better than the MX gloves I have for off road riding.

  • I wear a medium in the SHIFT FURY short glove. And I emailed you guys asking about sizing since i ordered a pair you guys said i should order medium so I did. And everyone is saying these run a size short. Should I have gotten large? do i need to return them now?

  • they are good for the winter?

    please answer fast.

sorry for my englisch...i am german :P

  • ur english is absolutely fine

  • no, they are for spring/summer, maybe autumn, but not for the winter. for tuhe winter you need a completely different model.

    Bye!

  • hey im getting a cruiser type bike im new to biking, i just bought a 1999 yamaha v classic 650 im 17, this is mainly for commuting what is a good all weather glove with protection with carbon fiber and what not, money is not the issue. thankx

  • if you want snug feel, get the actual size, they break in very fast.

getting one size larger is alright, but the fingers will be a bit longer.

  • these gloves were ridiculously awesome for about a month, until the inside synthetic portion at the tips of the fingers started to wear. after a bit over a month, i have holes at the right ring finger and left middle finger, and the rest are starting to develop. wore them in a crash about 40mph, and the exterior held up amazing. aside from the inside tips of my fingers feeling the grips more than i'd like they are pretty awesome. 9.5/10 i'd say.

  • aww crap I wish i woulda knew they ran small before I got them in the mail today lol.. looks like i'm gonna be exchanging for a size bigger in gloves AND jacket :(

  • i had the sm-x from astrs and they broke after one summer of riding. they worn out in the palm under the thumb. could this be because i use my arms to support me or because of the glove's material?

  • If you are referring to the textile gloves then I would say they will not typically hold up much more than that. These are more durable and protective than the pure textile gloves are

  • I've got the SMX-2 air carbon gloves and they give the most feel of any Glove I've ever worn. How do these compare to those in that respect and is the sizing about the same? I'd like the added protection but I simply hate gloves that don't give good feel feedback. Also I wear a large in those gloves would you recommend the same sizing or one up?

  • For many it is best to go 1 size large in the Alpinestars Gloves as they do tend to run a bit small. (especially the Race or GP series)

  • excellent glove, held up on a low speed low side with minimal damage. the gauntlet kept my wrist free from damage. the only thing I don't like is the sizing...they run small.

  • Thanks! We plan to add some customer reviews from the track this season.

  • hi dude not stop makeing the videos i love the info i get from them and keeps me up to date with the new stuff. would be good if you ask the people who have the gear from you if they would give them i score out of ten so people can see if they would like them. keep good work up
