@Conorjm94 I would say he made the right choice! He is a smart man to give up, all that pressure of today's BB world to stay big makes them take a alot of roids and they can be bad if you use them all your life! He made the right choice of walking away as he already achieved alot in bodybuilding,
Kevin, is unlike a lot of bodybuilders, still a healthy man for his age, well pretty much for every age. He is in amazing shape but just not as big as he was, he is doing it natural now.
Kevin Levrone, Shawn Ray and Frank Zane doing some legwork
he was huge .. i wish i he could come back like this... he is my favourite modern bb he was thick and huge and detailed.. best of all he is on youtube and is friendly
Cant do this shit forever.im an aged bodybuilder(47).I still keep in shape but size and strength goes with youth.cant keep putting all this stuff in your body either.
Modern Bodybuilders take steriods for 10+ years its not healthy to take steriods for 10+ why do you think arnold and the old time Bodybuilders didnt compete for a long time because roids fuck you up lets just see how long Ronnie last cuz he is still juicin even tho he is old
Much respect to Levrone. Yes, he's obviously not nearly as big and freakish as he was when he was competing... duh! What do you expect? For a retired pro who stopped training and then just picked it up again, he looks great now. Any man would kill to look the way he does at 2:22 in this video.
Keep it up, Kev. You don't need to go over the top. Keep it simple, natural and inspiring those of us in the 35+ club!
@ad1997 normal... lol some guys could train 10 years and wouldn´t look like kevin looks now. he quit steroids at the right time. i think more then 10 years are enough to your body. he is smart a good father and did the right thing.
@ad1997 i agree, he was one who inspired me, but he was lazy and relied on the juice instead of training hard, like coleman. He could have kept alot of his natural size if he was serious about the traing,
@Devestato72 Levrone trained like an animal, so i don't know where you got the idea he didn't, but after pushing that hard, for that long, i think your entitled to be lazy. he's now in his 40's i believe, and still in great shape. everyone handles retirement differently, Coleman kept training, and is still a freak even in his 50's.
i think Levrone just wanted to settle down with his family, and live the rest of his life like a more normal person. nothing wrong with that, and its what many do.
@ad1997 Hahahahahahaha, lazy my ass! He's one of the best bodybuilders of all time. He's also not on steroids now and looks amazing, just less freakish. He gives free advice on theLevroneReport.
If you look at his dieting and training while he was at his peak you would know it's now laziness.
@tranquility321 trata vos sin tomar esteroides...y con menos peso obvio entrenar dia a dia como el..alimentarte como el...y hacer criticas constructivas a este deporte....si lo haces te felicitoo
@tranquility321 he got a hormon problem that forced him to stop taking steroids, he even got a testosterone transplant but not that i know what that is.
but what i do know is that testosterone are changed when you take steroids, he obviously had some trouble and had to quit on steroids, forcing him to lose the mass that came with the steroids
@MrJoffe95 When the body is producing enough testosterone, taking any type of outside hormones will cause the body to stop making its own because its being supplied already. After they stop taking the hormones, the body is basically damaged because it still wont make its own hormones, therefore they have to either keep taking it or take some kinds of low dose of hormones forever. Flex Wheeler knows all to well.
Such a waste of good gentics he gave bodybuilding up
