He's a good manager so moving aside issues regarding his previous employers then it might be a good move. However! A word of warning to Randy Lerner. RL has had nothing but praise about how he takes villa's history seriously. BUT... his only manager signing was Houllier. villa fans told him he likes liverpool too much, he has a bad heart. they were proven right! his comments at anfield were awful, should have been sacked. Villa fans speak again! So get it right or randy will lose his cred!

Greater CV? better record in scotland than the holy martin oneill with no cash, highest league finish in bcfc history, first trophy in history, took scotland to 14th in world beating france away? One relegation with no backing from board and having had to do two cup runs with a small squad, and to attempt to blame first relegation on him is pathetic! I'll guarantee every one of those supporters will be clambering over one another for tickets if Eck brings in results .
