It doesn't matter what the color is. Paints have three different types of coat patterns: Overo, Tobiano, and Tovero (mix between overo and tobiano). I would consider this stallion to be tovero. If you notice underneath his belly, he's got several small spots the define a paint with overo markings. But, look at the spots on his barrel and down his back and what not, those spots would define a paint with tobiano markings. Put them together, you have tovero.

Is it just the brown on his back that makes him an Overo? I would have thought him to be Tobiano.
