  • It's not a maggot it's a larva of a beetle bug

  • Grub worm...eventually a june bug.

If you have patches of dead grass in your yard, it's grub worm larvae.

  • Termite.

  • I'm pretty sure these are terrible for plants.

  • its a larva of something

  • Beetle larva. Either it's a cockchafer, stag beetle, or junebug grub.

  • Yeah they have alot of these in louisiana, There a form of larve that bury themselfs in the ground or in old wood. They eat the roots of plants. They turn into some kind of moth after...

  • i seen a bug similar to this but it had 6 black eyes 6 1 inch spikes sticking out its back and no legs it had to wiggle its body to get wer it was going any1 know wut it mite be it freaked me out so i hit it with a hammer and it didnt have a mouth well i didnt see one

  • It lookes lika a Phyllopertha horticola (gosebeetle) larvae, the larvae eat grass roods, and they can destroy gardens...

It take one year for a L1 goosebeetle larvae to grow adult.

  • I've seen these before in my backyard. I smashed them and the brown stuff shot at my eye and it burned.

  • In México is named as "Yupo" is a baby "Cigarra"

  • Actually, this is a beetle larvae, I'm not sure what species, but a lot of them live in the aforementioned dirt and some live in rotting wood. Then after a while, they emerge as beetles. My stag beetles look likt this, only the head is more reddish.

Btw from what I know the white stuff is mostly fat.

  • It's a termite queen. The jaws are a big giveaway

  • oh how much i hated when the baby bugs are born they look so slimy

  • It is probably Stag beetle's larva or Rhinoceros beetle larva. They live in soil and may take several years to develop into an adult
