In Kentucky it is illegal to have ice cream in your back pocket...yes this sounds stupid but that was a method people had of stealing horses. Instead of taking the horse which might be obvious they would untie the horse and simply walk to wherver they wanted the horse togo, the horse would follow the melted ice cream. Yeah but even though those laws are dumb, it isn't the entire American people who create them. Usually these things are banned because of its relevance to something else. Like for example you can't throw confetti or a rubber ball in a crowded area because of safety issues. It might alarm people or something. Not that that is the reason why but I am just making a point.

in Colorado (Boulder to be exact) people were stealing couches off porches dragging them out to the street and lighting them on fire. It was a college thing. But the the Gov got sick of sending out the fire brigade to put out all of these fires, so they just put out a ban on porch couches.

Dude, all nations have stupid laws. Here's a few from Canada:
1-It is illegal for a teen to walk down main street for Fort Qu'Appelle with their shoes untied.
2-In Canada, It is illegal to leave your horse in front of the Country Squire without hitching it securely to the hitching post.
3-In Calgary it is unlawful to throw snowballs or set off firecrackers within the city, without the authorization of the mayor or City Council.

Yes i have read the Patriot Act and while the rights it gives the federal government are unconstitutional at best it dose not undermine the fact that in general the US dose have more rights than most other country's. I am mostly focusing on the our 27 amendments. Canada's healthcare sucks! Really look up the average mortality rate for cancer patients in America vs. Canada and you will see there is no contest, America wins. For every Canadian waiting long in a doctor's office, you'll find 10 Yanks waiting at home, 10 times longer, for insurance co's to let them see a doctor. Ask around--not many Yanks who don't have AT LEAST one close friend with an insurance horror story. Check out USA and Canadian lifespans.

I have talked to multiple doctors from America that make a fortune in Canada because of the lack of doctors there. I believe I know alot more than you about the medical situation. They see many patients that have to suffer because they are diagnosed to late. Americans dont need to get permission from an insurance company to see a doctor.
