This was probably the best decision Smogon ever made. There were four pokemon (Lati@s, Garchomp, and Salamence) who checked each other and shat on the rest of OU. They banned the broken pokes and OU wasn't too bad. Then in Gen V they looked up and said OMG I just got swept by a Blaziken, it's UBERSLOLZ.
@uzimakishadow They have a "rough list", which they use for tiers at the moment. All of the Pokemon that I mentioned to be not OU are all UU. They are high UU, but none of them are OU. Blaziken is very low down for obvious reasons, being banned a while before UU was calculated.
On the Smogon forums, go to Smogon Community -> Dragonspiral Tower -> UU -> Gen V Initial UU (By JabbaTheGriffin)
@uzimakishadow Gee, I wonder why. Maybe because they have high Speed and Attack so people use them a lot, therefore since the tiers are based on usage (With the exception of BL & Ubers), they become OU. If you really want exceptions, then Zoroark, Zapdos, Jolteon, Aerodactyl and Ambipom are not OU.
Also, 7 of the Top 10 Pokemon in OU have less than 100 Base Speed. I excluded Excadrill because of how popular Sandstorm teams are, and if you are using Excadrill you should be running Sandstorm.
It's still a Bidoof. Plus, you have a low chance of getting Evasion boosts, and you have a chance of constantly getting your accuracy decreased, which is the equivalent of your opponent getting an evasion boost. I can see the reasoning behind an evasion ban, but this?
Speaking of Evasion boosts, considering how fast the metagame is now, I don't see the point of a DT / Minimize ban anymore. You're basically asking yourself to be set up on. Power creep nulls this now.
@LapiZWarD If you set up on a Pokemon who is using Minimize, then they will set up evasion as well, which makes it mostly about luck. Like BritScor but worse! Moody Bidoof would most likely be running Sub/Protect/Return/Waterfall, so after 4 Subs & Protects, you've gone through 8 turns, if you get no evasion boosts then your UNlucky. They would most likely not rely on Acc much.
I saw a battle that lasted 42 turns. At the end, the stats were (+) 5 Atk, 3 Def, 5 SpA, 4 SpD, 5 Spe, 5 Acc, 6 Eva.
I was reading which pokemon sucked in GEN 5 and I noticed how they said Haxorus sucks because of his speed.
If thats the case THEN MAX HIS SPEED AND ATTACK EV's!That would make Him godlike with Dragondance. They make it sound like it is that hard. I was able to sweep so many people with Haxorus with Dragon Dance+Outrage
@azal8521 good luck against skarmory, fortress,excadrill and every choice scarfer in the 5th gen OU metagame. if your looking for a strong dragon type physcal or special attacker go with hydriegon or garchomp respectivly ( garchomp is unbanned in 5th gen ou for the time being) hydreigon packs coverage outside its STAB moves to hit many pokemon for super effective damage also life orb draco meteor has around the same power as a haxxorus outrage and garchomp is faster and gets all haxoruss moves

@SSBMslash I do. I use Dream Eater to recover HP instead, since my target usually has more than enough HP to bring Rent-A-Mob back to full in one turn. You newbies are too busy worshiping Smogon to think for yourselves, so you don't think of creative movesets. Dream Eater on Spiritomb=creative because Smogon doesn't endorse it. Rest + +Sleep Talk + Eruption on Camerupt = creative (it works really well, too! I recently beat someone who tried to Sucker Punch me, since Sleep Talk ignores it!).
@Kingofcolor i like trying creative sets but the reason why they aren't used very often is because they are only useful in some situations and after a while the opponent can adapt to the strategy, besides smogon isn't stopping you, you are allowed to do whatever you want

(smogon.com) They are the most popular site in terms of rules and regulations for standard battles through wifi in terms of Tiers, what this is referring to is a decision they made a long while ago that put Salamence into the Uber (typically unusable) Tier which made many people happy (me) and many people upset (Hitler)
The green fetus Pokemon is low UU. It has a bit less Special Attack than Alakazam or Porygon - Z. Unlike the two of them, the fetus has good HP, but the Speed is forgettable and the Defenses are rather mediocre at most. Suicune, on the other hand, can do pretty much all that, except it has much more defensive prowess. And Suicune is actually UU in Generation 5... I've heard the fetus might go down to UU.
@PhilosophicalPsycho The green fetus,AKA Reuniclus, is actually stupidly bulky. It can actually survive a T-tar's Crunch and just barely survive a CB Tar's Crunch and can OHKO back with a Focus Blast.
It's one of the most used pokemon and is the new anti-metagame pokemon especially since its Trick Room set just destroys everything.
Magic Guard makes it immune to all passive damage,including Life orb.

Garchomp deserves to be in the uber tier because:
1) It has an above average HP
2) It has a great attack stat
3) It's defense is above average
4) It's speed is unique
5) it has access to swords dance, which doubles it's attack stat when used

It's still a Bidoof. Plus, you have a low chance of getting Evasion boosts, and you have a chance of constantly getting your accuracy decreased, which is the equivalent of your opponent getting an evasion boost. I can see the reasoning behind an evasion ban, but this?
Speaking of Evasion boosts, considering how fast the metagame is now, I don't see the point of a DT / Minimize ban anymore. You're basically asking yourself to be set up on. Power creep nulls this now.

@LapiZWarD If you set up on a Pokemon who is using Minimize, then they will set up evasion as well, which makes it mostly about luck. Like BritScor but worse! Moody Bidoof would most likely be running Sub/Protect/Return/Waterfall, so after 4 Subs & Protects, you've gone through 8 turns, if you get no evasion boosts then your UNlucky. They would most likely not rely on Acc much.
I saw a battle that lasted 42 turns. At the end, the stats were (+) 5 Atk, 3 Def, 5 SpA, 4 SpD, 5 Spe, 5 Acc, 6 Eva.

I was reading which pokemon sucked in GEN 5 and I noticed how they said Haxorus sucks because of his speed.
If thats the case THEN MAX HIS SPEED AND ATTACK EV's!That would make Him godlike with Dragondance. They make it sound like it is that hard. I was able to sweep so many people with Haxorus with Dragon Dance+Outrage

@azal8521 good luck against skarmory, fortress,excadrill and every choice scarfer in the 5th gen OU metagame. if your looking for a strong dragon type physcal or special attacker go with hydriegon or garchomp respectivly ( garchomp is unbanned in 5th gen ou for the time being) hydreigon packs coverage outside its STAB moves to hit many pokemon for super effective damage also life orb draco meteor has around the same power as a haxxorus outrage and garchomp is faster and gets all haxoruss moves

@SSBMslash I do. I use Dream Eater to recover HP instead, since my target usually has more than enough HP to bring Rent-A-Mob back to full in one turn. You newbies are too busy worshiping Smogon to think for yourselves, so you don't think of creative movesets. Dream Eater on Spiritomb=creative because Smogon doesn't endorse it. Rest + +Sleep Talk + Eruption on Camerupt = creative (it works really well, too! I recently beat someone who tried to Sucker Punch me, since Sleep Talk ignores it!).

@Kingofcolor i like trying creative sets but the reason why they aren't used very often is because they are only useful in some situations and after a while the opponent can adapt to the strategy, besides smogon isn't stopping you, you are allowed to do whatever you want

Why this video? Hitler's talking about the situation he had to deal with in 1945. The subtitle is about Salamence's Uberness and that Hitler is getting angry because of that, but he's shouting that everybody betrayed him, even the SS.

(smogon.com) They are the most popular site in terms of rules and regulations for standard battles through wifi in terms of Tiers, what this is referring to is a decision they made a long while ago that put Salamence into the Uber (typically unusable) Tier which made many people happy (me) and many people upset (Hitler)

Well, Latias and Deoxys are now no longer UU...
The green fetus Pokemon is low UU. It has a bit less Special Attack than Alakazam or Porygon - Z. Unlike the two of them, the fetus has good HP, but the Speed is forgettable and the Defenses are rather mediocre at most. Suicune, on the other hand, can do pretty much all that, except it has much more defensive prowess. And Suicune is actually UU in Generation 5... I've heard the fetus might go down to UU.

@PhilosophicalPsycho The green fetus,AKA Reuniclus, is actually stupidly bulky. It can actually survive a T-tar's Crunch and just barely survive a CB Tar's Crunch and can OHKO back with a Focus Blast.
It's one of the most used pokemon and is the new anti-metagame pokemon especially since its Trick Room set just destroys everything.
Magic Guard makes it immune to all passive damage,including Life orb.
