Fantastic! I just secured Kinect units for my Algebra classes and have been looking for a program just like this. (At the time I write, November 2011, such programs have been quite scarce.)
Has this software been released for purchase?

@JoelElliottMath Thanks for asking. Our project will be released as open source by the end of December this year as soon as we finished first version of the prototype.
