  • Beautiful!

  • Dis song is in spanish too look it up

  • ,I love Johnny Tillotsons version because he has a smooth, beautiful voice.

  • It's nice to hear a different rendition of an old favorite but I got to say I like the Cascades version better though both are good

  • Great song, great version. I also love the two images in your slideshow, chrysler30062. What particular cars are they? They are huge, vulgar and utterly magnificent; superb iconic Americana at its best.

  • Beautiful!

  • Why is it that i was born in 1966 but I remember all these sixties tracks.

impossible I know, but I do.

The words, the melody, the inocence.

    Freak or what ?

  • @wareidav In the 80s many of these 50s and 60s songs were very popular again, maybe that's why?

  • Aww I was at school when this was released we used to go to Streatham Lacarno it brought back fantastic memories thank you got all emotional!!! X

  • For some reason , when this song came out, I was drunk alot...RR

  • I have been directed here from a Jason Donovan video... What class !

  • More like "watch where you go."

  • The Cascades´version is also good!

  • for you lorna i love you xxxxxxxx

  • Thanks

  • Very good!

Thought The Cascades were the first!

  • love the song!

  • Thanks

  • Ok I found it myself.

The first picture is made by Robert T. McCall. But it was just an ad for a cement association and so it isn´t as popular as his other works.

  • Who drew those pics? They look great.

I looked for Norman Rockwell, but it doesn´t to be his work.

    Does anyone know?

  • the second picture is from a Pontiac Wide Track advertisement from the 60s.

  • I remember this song very well. It was my girlfriends favorite song. This girl I loved died in a terrible boating accident in 1968. I held her in may arms as she breathed her last goodbye to me.

  • Sorry to here that this lovely song brings back so many sad memories.

    // Anders

  • I dedicate this song to Louise, wherever you are.......................you took my heart many years ago.

  • Thank you.

  • awsome

  • bobby vinton, roy orbison and so many otl-lers made an era beautiful..i l-lave born in wrong era,tl-le songs are evidences...

  • Johnny is great, as usual !!

  • Yes I agree

  • Katy who???

These don't look at all like Norman Rockwells work. His weren't "shiny" like these. These are well done tho'.

I have this 45 by , I think it's the Cascades. Always liked it. My mom and sister liked Johnny Tillotson alot.

  • saw johnny at the KY state fair last week. still great as ever. best voice ever

  • i was with my first love in 1963, and this song came on the radio. Thats why after 46 yrs., I've never forgotten her !

  • Nice to here that it brings back nice memorys

  • Remind me of my first love too. Couldn't help playing it over n over again! Beautiful song, great voice!

  • I met Johnny tonight at The Kentucky State Fair. His voice is as good as on the recordings. He is very nice, and a thoughtful person as well.....David

  • are those Norman Rockwell pictures?

  • I'm 17 years old and absolutely sick of the state of music today. The Cascades, Buddy Holly, and those people had so much influence and such good music. I try to appreciate music of all kinds, but it's kind of hard with Britney Spears and Katy Perry.

  • LOL ~ That's why I listen to Spanish Top40 and I don't even speak Spanish!

  • I love your pictures! where did you get them from?

  • Thank you for uploading this! This is another great version of a classic song! Ron

  • all time classic for 60's people,i remember singing this with the brush microphone in my bedroom...........oh god Gene Pitney was one of the best and died before his time really,he made this some famous.........duh?

  • Again another version of an outstanding song, still popular some 45+ years later, this song is in the top 10 BMG all time played songs

  • Always appreciate finding a different version of a pop song that is well done. Thanks.

  • love this song great sound and its a catchy toon

  • You tell me this music is"gay". But you listen to music that jumps around, throws bottles, kicking people in the face. I can convince you, that music can have an influence on who you are. People who are disrespectful, who are ignorant, could care less for true love and about love. A good person loves like poetry. A good person, loves with a good heart.

  • Agreed!

  • i love this song!!!

  • Tillotson has a great voice. But to cover the Cascades classic is fighting a losing battle for anyone.

  • LOVE THIS ,

  • haven't heard this in a gazillion years! love your graphic. so fitting of the time this song hit the air waves. thank you, for posting this. made my saturday evening.

  • Great song

  • I love Tillotson's version. Thanks for posting this up.
