What are you energy costs, per mo. and do save rain water from the roof for water to flush toilets . And looks great how is the rain run off in a heavy storm at the back of the lot where the sod is at the back, any erosien yet ? Are u going to add solar panels and a small wind turbine to back up power at outage times ? Very Nice finishes and layout , BRAVO !!jb
@GASC0122 Hey, I have a few questions. Where do you get the containers from, how do you get them transported, and how much does the transportation cost?
ok 1st awesome!! very nice home...2nd how much did it all cost? 3rd are you going to use solar energy or something else to power your home or just normal? 4th how big are the containers from all sides? and 5th how much did each container cost? sorry 4 all the questions :)
WOW i really, really, really, really WANT every information for the building plans. Can you PLEASE send me the blue prints for the house,i'm really interested PLS answer.TY
You have inspired me to build one of my own in New Zealand, because where i live, which is a really wealthy area, my neighbours complain alot about their high expenses in maintaining there homes and expecially homes damaged in the recent earthquakes here, therefore i will show off in building a strong metal home, practicaly earthquake proof, that will only take me weeks to build instead of months or years... thank you very much for your vid, excellent taste indeed you have lol =)
HEY. COULD YOU PLEASE TELL US HOW MUCH THE LABOR WAS????? I AM SOOOOO INTERESTED IN THIS IDEA. I CAN'T BELIEVE EVERYONE ISN'T LIVING IN THESE THINGS::::JUST BEAUTIFUL!
nice good Job !!! glad to see this online, maybe it will shut up a few people who cannot wrap their brains around the idea that you can do what ever design and style you want with containers !! lol about the maids quarters !!!
Percentage wise, compared to a steel or timber frame home (whichever is cheaper where you are), how much money do you think you have saved using containers as your frame?
saludes y felicidades el visto todos tus videos y me gustan yo estoy intersado en construir algo como tu casa que se ve fantastica me gustaria saber si me podes ayudar con informacion cuando comience mi proyecto de construcion
It 's great! I'am now a students of civil engineering. I think I have discovered my dream plan with this video in the future! Great idea, great job! Congrats !
What kind of floor do you have on the first level? Just wondering if it's terrazzo? Didn't see a heating, venting, and air conditioning system. Are you installing that later? What would you have done differently with construction now that you're finished with the job? Sorry for all the questions. Awesome house.
@jtimjordan Hi, In the first level the floor is Porcelain Tile, we dont have seasons here, so there is no need to install a heating system therefore im going to install an airconditioning in the master room for the hot days.

I just found your videos and watched them all! Thanks very much for sharing your documentation. Your design is very well done, and the project seems to be coming together very well. Congratulations on a great result for all your work. I can tell you are happy with it, as you finally let us know Titan's name.
Thanks for showing the progress of your upcycle home ,its a remarkable project , you have been an inspiration to me ,and from the various comments to others also, you have provided a lot of insight for many of us to build our own,you held nothing back as many youtubers do .
Now that your home is completed ,an update of the finish product would be most welcome.
Once again thank you sincerely,we need projects like this in the Eastern Caribbean to bring down cost.
This is awesome! I've been watching your progress since you posted the first videos. Its really inspiring! You have done an amazing thing. Its definitely not what most people think of when they hear the phrase "container house". Cant wait to see the finished house!

@GASC0122 I really like this idea!
#1. Its up-cycling cargo containers.
#2. It is probably a lot more durable then traditional house construction.
#3. modular. almost like lego's. as your family grows you can all way's add on easily!
$4. Probably a lot cheaper then traditional construction.
#5. easily made off the grid.
I wonder how much your yearly property tax will be like. and how much i would be looking to build a similar construction here in Nebraska/Iowa.
