i am so thankful irene was far enough off the shore.

i was there and had to evacuate on friday in the middle of the night,

on friday the waves were huge so my borther and i were jumping into them then getting pulled asross the beach.

We were on 60th street and there was a cliff forming it it was 5ft tall when i left

Waves up to the dunes!!! Man, I'm glad I was there in July and not now!

Taken from the dunes just north of Ocean City in Fenwick Island, Delaware. Dunes seem to be holding well, but the waves are still about 30 yards from breaking on them.
