@Chantehz Hey, If you still haven't fixed it I can help you. I assume you're trying to render in MP4. In Sony Vegas 11, there is a bug (I think it is) when render in MP4 format. So when render in MP4 you need to go to the first page where you choose fps and res. And change the encode mode from "automatic" to "CPU only" That fixed my problem.

To get it working it vegas pro 10, set it to 59.94 fps, and change the frame size from custom to 1280x720........ well that was what worked for me :)

TO ANYONE THAT GETS THE ERROR WHEN RENDERING AT 60 FPS: Apparently they fixed the problem of downgrading the FPS when they created sony vegas 10, so if you have sony vegas 9 or lower, render at 60.0. If you have sony vegas 10, render at 59.94 and it will actually be 59.94 FPS. I have sony vegas 10 and a PVR so I know. Thumbs this up so people can see.

If it says it doesnt work just go back and put it as 59.94 and then go to the custom frame size put it as 1280 by 720 and it should work :) thumbs up if this worked :P

If you render As Sony AVC you have to set the fps on the video properties as one of the presets or you'll get an error

@jamcool61495 It is probably your computer's fault. If you have a low-end computer, it will easily crash when rendering. If that is the case, try updating your video card drivers (which probably won't work, but it's a shot), and if not, you are more or less out of luck.

If you have a good computer, I dont really know. Try uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting your computer etc. If all else fails, maybe pirate a different copy (assuming you pirated it like most ppl >,>).

But the weird thing is it will render certain videos. like i was able to upload an 8 minute video and when i try it again it doesn't work. It will also render an entire video thats only 20 seconds long basically a short video.

@jamcool61495 Try using different settings. Maybe rendering in a different file type. Try WMV instead of MP4 (assuming you are using Small Beans'). Quality will still look fairly decent even if you use a default template. Some file types react differently with different versions of Sony Vegas/operating systems etc.

If you were prompted with the error in Vegas 10 "An error occurred while creating the media file.. the reason could not be determined" after using his settings, change the 60.0000 to 59.94. Looks pretty much the same to me. :)
