Wasn't Hades portrayed as a "nice" guy in this series? I don't remember well, but I think he helped Hercules out because it would lighten his work load or something.

Wasn't he killed by Xena in that storyline (don't remember) where she killed almost all the Greek Gods?

Persephone never appeared on Xena; just in Hercules. But Persephone is his wife. At first she hated him, but she fell in love with him after awhile. She had to go back with her mom because her mom would not let the crops or anything grow until she had her daughter back. So she spends half the year with Hades, and the other half with her mother, Demeter.

Erik Thompson played Hades up until Adventures in the Sin Trade on Xena, but hades exists in both Herc and Xena. Then, in later seasons he was replaced by this other guy I don't know his name. But the other guy also made appearances in the Herc series later as well. So they go back and forth.

So it gets confusing ^^.
