@warwick2155 everything is better about SF but unlucky notheing compares with nintendo marketing, and NES was better known in US and Japan, Amiga games were more popular in Europe. But Amiga is one of the best home computers of its time.

@KrstatheGrobar It's easy to play super frog on the computer. Search for the program winuae, then download the game from like Lemon Amiga games. Then you load the disks in the program and start it up. Easy!

There was an advertisement of this game inside another Team17 title called "Alien Breed Special Edition 92". It had a great tune that didn´t appear anywhere inside the original SuperFrog game. A pity not to have included it.

@neogeouk The Project F level really surprised me when i first saw it back in the day because it was something i never expected! :) That is one thing about the Amiga days and that is that the coders really gave a great sense of fun to gaming with tongue in cheek jokes and little references like the one in Turrican 2 where you are flying along in the horizontally scrolling shootem-up level and then that little ship flies past and says "Katakis Lives" ;) Today's games are SHIT!

it's possible to stay in the air forever (or at least, until time goes up).

@PotterNo1 I remember the cover disk where you had to complete one of the egyptian levels and you get a code. I think you then had to send the code to one of the amiga magazine companies via mail (no email back in the days) and you won something I can't remember what it was.

Also SuperFrog isnt abandonware, so he cannot download it for "free" unless he legally owns the game!

If the orignal creators released Volfied as abandonware then yes.

As for SuperFrog, we recommend playing the Amiga original via WinUAE anyway, as PC version wasnt as great a port.

@cubex55 When playing Superfrog on the PC, I heard that the 'wings' powerup simply made you jump faster instead of flying. This would make the last level of the game utterly impossible to finish!

Don't really get why you collect as many coins as possible even though you can go the exit, even though this isn't a speedrun I woulda much rather just seen you finish levels quick, maybe thats just me though.
