I have been skeptical of FB for at least a year. I don't think Zuckerberg is to be trusted. He is wolf in sheep's clothing. A lot of alarms started ringing up, especially when "they" decided to introduce this permanent, unedited thing we now know as the timeline.
That's a horrible investment, someone else will come and replace them , that's what happen to myspace. Facebook is not really going to grow much after this, it has already captured the markets which have resonable disposable income. Once the public capital flows in through finance companies it would be sold at a utlra high price and then it would just fall down unless they expand their markets in telecommunications technology.

@a619ko I keep my facebook deleted as a security mesure. After i'm done i deleted it again to become hidden from sight. I don't trust it to much. If my information is going to be on a server network its going to be hard to find.
@Peter4101 When you finally decide to delete/close your account forever, make sure you delete all of your pictures, videos, posts, info, etc., each, one by one, down to the last one. This removes the files from their servers. If you leave the file in your account before you close it, they are theirs forever and can be used against you later, or their benefit. Read the Facebook User Agreement again.

@ShaktipatSeer2 It wouldn't grow other wise. It takes web masters, techs, security annalist, networking speicalist, etc. to run google as well as facebook or any other site. The problem is information. We have the choise in the options menues to shut out this guy from making money. Do it if you don't want to be known. Also using this site as a key refferince to allot of sites(aka loging in with one user to a number of sites) is the real issue here. Relying on one site can bring down everyone.
