Michaels is a loathesome human being and it was always easy to see. Saw the match between him and Sid Vicious the other day (the one of Survivor Series 96 in New York) where the crowd was on Sid's side and booed the hell out of S.Michaels. You could just see the legitimate contempt Shawn had for the crowd because they didn't kiss his ass. These are clear indications of a narcissistic personality disorder and it fits with all other stories about his behavior.

It was great match though hbk came from raptors and it had be restarted vader wone by countout and then hbk won after the superkick.

He never said it would fail but that it would be bad for business in the long run. He surmised the use of painkillers increased because of the stresses brought on by hardcore wrestling. Furthermore, by focussing on melodrama rather than competition, wrestlers would be hired based on bodily archetype rather than actual talent, and therefore increase the use of steroids, while devaluing the titles for storylines. In a way he was correct in that "attitude" contributed in killing WCW.
