To be honest, if you watch the full video, I think you'll see what an amazing woman she is. Her father was killed by white people (who were never prosecuted by the white police) some 40 years ago. So Ms. Sherrod was less than enthusiastic about helping a white farmer who acted superior to her - she got over her attitude, and the farmer today credits her with saving his farm. I went to a black high school and live in a predominantly black neighborhood unfortunately (someone has to pay taxes there, right?) It may very well have had nothing to do with race; perhaps the dude had a general superiority complex irrespective of skin color; or perhaps Sherrod's own prejudice projected onto this "cracker" her personal racism...She then goes on to hating on Republicans and claiming she sent this poor white farmer "to one of his own."
I saw nothing that suggested she was no less a racist than she had ever been in the past.

There's a tort claim she could bring called FALSE LIGHT invasion of privacy, which means reporting true facts but in a false light or context. It fits this case to a tee.
