It would have gone over huge for Rock to screw Austin with McMahon's help, and it would have rekindled the Austin/McMahon feud in a fresh way.

@Thepaddster I would say "other factors" played a lot more of a role in WCW's death than Austin/McMahon did. WCW showed a lot of life in the 4 months after Vince Russo was released, and if AOL/Time Warner had not gotten so antsy there is a very good chance that they would have rebounded significantly. You have to remember, that up until 1999 Austin vs McMahon led to Raw catching up with Nitro, but it wasn't until we got into 1999 that WCW actually fell behind significantly.
