On 11th of nov, 1918, the ww1 officially stopped, but german asholes still existed. Exactly 1 year later, they, for example tried to occupy Latvia, thank God, they didnt succeade!

@Mr91OCB nope im not nutts i research war and im pretty sure its 10+ casualties for turkey alone. look the war lasted just about 4.5 years. most of the fighting took place in europe and the middle east. the ottomans(turks) lost 2 million soldiers 85% total of the ir army in world war 2. once ottoman army was destroyed the occupation began of turkey. the came a civil war type thing where another 4 million died .then came ethnic war between turks arabs and kurds there died about 100,000+ people:)

Allies did not "abandon their invasion of Gallipoli because it was badly organised", they suffered a good ol' fashioned defeat at the hands of the Turks. They were defeated again when Townsend attacked up the Tigris towards Bagdad (which is not mentioned here).

Allies captured ground in tha Ballkans, you mean Serbia ! Serbia lost 1 third of its populationa, and the whole contry retreted trough Albania to Greece, that is why they coudn't take Greece, because Serbs and Greeks hel the Thessaloniki front, and wore heled by allies mostly in ecuipment, but little in man power by French British.

It's not Serbias fault, its Young Bosnia and Black Hand (also assasineted the Serbain king Aleksandar Obrenovic 1903).

@GadgetGearup Erf no, USA had a minor importance in WW1, only 2millions of inexperienced us soldiers took part at the conflict, and at the very end. It's hard to tell if Germany would have lost without them (even though for me it was a matter of time), but at the very least Germany/Austria-Hungary weren't "winning" it was most an equality.
