singing wise David and Johnny are interchangeable,they both get it,and deliver it the same certain kind of way.

Arthur and Jerry were great too, what David and Syl are doing now with the name is pretty pathetic,why get a guy who looks like Johnny? I know guitarist who sound much more authentic,who have the the real spirit of rocknroll ,that guy just looks the way people think rocknroll should look like.

Thunders was a star, a phenomenon-his charisma and mystique and ability to coordinate and focus the talent around him to the end of his music was phenomenal - its amazing that no one in his band even walter lure, was able to get a sound that supports his talent and makes him look good without Thunders presence and musicianship, timing and esthetic.

After a gig in Sweden in the 80s, me and my pals went backstage and found a flock of girls waiting for Johnny. After a while a staggering drunk Johnny came out and Johnny who wanted to be friendly bent down to meet the girls raised hands. The next moment he was down on the ground with the girls trying to rip him apart. Somehow he got on his feet and started to run in circles for his life. After some insane scenes we convinced some security guards to help Johnny escape the crazy girls. RIP Johnny
