I'd say it starts out Kaizo but degenerates into Pit once the item jump rooms come in. The Layer 2 smasher/spike room borders on pit, but I've seen comparable in Kaizo.

I can't really say this looks like a good mario hack, It's not hard, It's memorization. You have to know what happens where, When, and how otherwise it's completely impossible. Kaizo mario only threw this out there a couple times, And it usually was fair. The time constraints make each room a tedium more than a enjoyable challenging experience. If you're looking to make a nearly impossible hack, Good job. If you were looking to make a difficult one you overshot that by a few miles, I'm sorry.

I can easily make a barely doable rom hack, And easier then that make one that is completely impossible. I can also then hack my own rom to make mario invincible and fly. That doesn't make a playthrough of my own fucking game better than...Roahm Mythril's Megaman perfect runs, Or anyone else who plays original games, Or even decent romhacks.

@pillowhead56 well...you gotta give this guy credit, he at least made it creative. There are good hard hacks and bad hard hacks, just like there are good easy hacks and bad easy hacks. Like you said, anyone can make an insane hack by throwing random stuff around, but only few, penangbenny being one of them, can make it look good. Plus playtest it.
