It's the same with any turbo modification you have to make the exhaust bigger to lower the compression or you would kill your piston rings when you turn up the boost. The sound comes from the turbo and dump valve and has nothing to do with the size of the exhaust, but a bigger exhaust gives a deeper sound, a smaller exhaust just makes problems.

I think this cars a replica F50, and if it is it's a good one!

Big exhaust to lower compression? Lol I'd say exhausts barely have any effect on Comp Ratio if any at all. Maybe you should try drag racing and learn a little. Boost, pistons, heads, intake maybe... make the most effect on CR.
