  • which song is from 0:30 to 0:50 ?

  • if you love me you will buy this for me or ill take an arrow to the knee...

  • Nice demo, did some research and theres a store called Fox UK Music that offer up this amplifier for a great price! search 'Fox Products' in google and you'll be on the right track guys!

  • does the Line 6 spider IV work with the Line 6 POD HD500

  • Very good and thorough demo of the Spider, really great insight and its nice to see a player not speed through his demo not going into any detail! I have tried this amp at Fox UK Music and they recommended that, for the type of effects driven playing style I had..this would be the perfect choice at a great price of £85!

  • I getting about five different influences(bands) from your playing, just the little simple riffs your playing around with. I heard a little bit of AC/DC style playing, not exactly but it sort of sound like. I know this is just a demo. Thanks for show the guitar playing.

  • Hello, mr. Gilmour!

  • @OxygenEffects Hello mate, thank you very much indeed. Good day.

  • @MrLouisl78 serial killer*

  • Can you give me the tabs that u playedd of 5:03 to :6:07

  • @MrLouisl78 I fear for my Lucky Charms.

  • what about your other sleeve???

  • hey could i get the tabs for that song you played with the loop?

  • the tone at 1:08 is SICK!

  • @tjompiskompis its called Balls of Fury i have a IV Spider xD

  • @DRKALX Thanks :D I'll know that when I get it for christmas :)

  • @tjompiskompis congratulations man :) and yea no problem :D

  • @DRKALX Thanks again ^^

  • @tjompiskompis no problem and remember Have a nice day :D

  • @DRKALX Your awesome :D

  • @tjompiskompis lol than you you to buddy haha :)

  • What song is he playing?

  • Those shoes are not very Rock and Roll but nice crisp playing

  • 5:00-6:00 is awesome

  • Cool guitar but I think i like humbucker pick ups better than the single coils

  • It's a 300.00 amp without an FBV pedal and you will need one, so 400.00 + depending on the FBV. Anyway the sound over all has a nasally tone and is overall pretty splatty sounding and lacks "sack". On the plus side it is still a good practice amp and would be good enough for some gigs since the average person doesn't pick apart gear like Musicians do and doesn't know tone from a hole in the wall. If you want to gig with a Line 6 amp the Spider Valve is the way to go. As usual it JMHO and YMMV.

  • dude wt the song on 5:03 :)

  • what guitar is? is an Esp but what model?

  • how does diz amp sound connected to a pod xt live ????

    sumbody pleaz respond me

  • hey, i was thinking of either getting this or the spider III 75, which on should i choose? keep in mind that the spyder III is a hundred dollars cheaper

  • I have this amp and absolutely love it! Especially sense its been updating sense this vid. I just have problems micing it correctly :s anybody care to give some advice? I play heavy metal so I have a lot of distortion.

  • How does it sounds connected to pod xt live?

  • hey bro whats the name of the song u r playing in the begining

  • @TheBrandonliteyr he's probably improvising all the way

  • Hey peeps i got that same amp the switchboard doesnt come with the amp if you decide to get the pedal get "line 6 fbv express" its awsome its made for this model line6 or diff line 6 spider models you can pick up a switchboard for like 89 new and it kicks butt i got mine i ran into at a thrift store for 15 dollars and it happned to be the one for my line 6 spider vi amp

  • @romankok and @daineymoor in the netherlands the line6 spider IV75w is €279,- and the shortboard used is €198,-. That makes a total of €477,- (~419 pounds/673 USD) at rockpalace. Quite expensive for a beginner/intermediate guitarist, but nothing for someone that rocks on stage. I am definately gonna get me the line6 spider amp, but the shortboard seems a bit much for me right now :)

  • do you get that pedal with the amp or do you have to buy it?

  • @daineymoor no you can see he has a line 6 board... which looks very expensive ^^

  • just got this amp and it's really great, if you need something to practice or to play small shows this is good, you could has as many presets you want and change between 4 channel, and it all digital so it's simple...

  • does this amp come with a pedal? and can i connect my hd 500 to it?

  • if you want good modeling use amplitube; although it's a bigger investment.

But it really is amazingly good, AC/DC has eve used it on their latest record:)

  • should i get a peavey vypyr 30???sum1 please reply

  • @rhettanator2000

I am in the exact same boat as you. I'm trying to decide between this one and the vypyr 30

  • @btbameu i think im going with the peavey

  • @rhettanator2000 line 6 spider IV 75w

  • sounds really muddy on the palm mutes, i dont know if its cause its single coils or the amp but metal dont sound to good on this demonstration

  • The Line-6 75 Watt is only $300 you noob. and it sounds sexy as hell, dont let this Drugdrunkker lead you astray. This is definitely a nice amp and is sure as hell good for the price. Id recommended 150%

  • I'm buying it right away!!!!

  • I have the amp, and am always suprised to see how small it looks in online videos. Believe me, the thing is really HEAVY to carry around. Luckily the features are really awesome, especially if you have an FBV MKII pedal with it.

  • I can get the line 6 spider 75 amp for €298 ($406,08) btw.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I get the idea that the line 6 spider 75, 120 and 150 watt are more then decent amps which give you a hell of options so you dont need to expand it with pedals and pods...

The 15 and 30 watt line 6 spiders are on the other hand limited because they almost dont have any presets cause they dont have digital screen menu with all those kind of sounds so if you are a smart kid with limited money you need to buy the 75 w??!?!

  • I have this amp put the bad thing about is that it goes full volume automatically when I change to a different artist or a song. Any way I could change that?

  • @xxguitargirl94xx thats beause the different programmed artists and song sounds have a different chanel volume and you can only change it in the user sounds if you turn the channel volume down and save this setting... otherwise you just can turn down the master volume.. i hope that helps an sorry for bad english... (i'm german ;))

  • @fx5guitar7player9 how can I save the setting, and it's allright thank you

  • @xxguitargirl94xx at first you should look at which space a sound is saved (for for example 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D...) and than you only have to press one of the channel buttons for 3 or 4 secounds til all of them are blinking (or can i say flashing ? :D ) after that usually you are at the space where the sound is saved but it's important to press the right channel button, if your sound was saved at 1A for example you should to press the A button, if it was saved at 1B you...

  • @fx5guitar7player9 have to press B if you want that your sound is saved at the same space..

  • @xxguitargirl94xx have to press B if you want that your sound is saved at the same space..

  • @fx5guitar7player9 thanks! You helped me there, now it's time for me to experiment =D

  • @xxguitargirl94xx if you have the spider 75 or more, you have the "manual mode", so when you change your presets, volume don't change. otherwise drop the vol control on your guitar, change the preset, turn a bit your control "chain vol", and your volume will not change

  • amazing review, helped me choose if i should buy one or not (i did, and i love it) played amazing aswell :)

  • somehow it has always seemed to me that these amps are just for playing around. And that's exactly how that amp sounds. Yes, I have bought that amp and I regret it so much!

  • @drugdrunkker you means that these amps played loud sounds bad ? sry for bad english

  • @chimairakickass It doesn't matter what volume you have on this amp, it still sucks. If you are concidering to buy this amp, DON'T!! You want a good modeling amp? Save some money for a Peavey vypyr 60, it's a tube amp and it costs only about 500 dollars

  • @chimairakickass Dont listen to Drugdrunker the amp is brilliant played quietly or loudly. :)

  • Does the amp come with a foot manual channel control(footswitch)?

  • @Depaully nope. if you already have an amp which is loud enough for you, i would look into line6 pods rather than a new line6 amp entirely.

  • Does the amp come with the pedal and the short board thing or what eva that was, come with the amp???

  • @EllStock no it doesnt, you need to buy the foot switch separately!

  • @MauricioGomezPino

    What pedal model is this???

  • @UnknownMisfit1 huh? what do you mean?

  • The first part sounded amazingly like Lessons by Rush.

  • like how you got the guitar in drop d just like that

  • @greatfelixo hey buddy, its not too difficult if you listen to metal and that, it just takes a tad practise, and just sortof comes naturally to you after a while :)

  • @musicradartv How did you get the Smart Harmony effect to sound like that?

  • @jojococo54 you can change the harmonies it plays

  • 5:49 a bend should have been beautiful just try it out :) (full bend)

  • 2:15 HIGH GAY xD :P nice vid maaaan (i know its high gain ;)

  • Oooh beautiful palm mutes!

  • Can you get a warm, fat jazz tone out of it like Wes Montgomery and Pat Martino? Would someone please give a demonstration? Thanks.

  • whats that first song??

  • @blackstormer95 i think its just random stuff he makes up on the spot mate

  • @deathbot15 oh... its cool anyway

  • line 6 suck!

marshall is the way to go!!!

  • @surferboy14lp im having a marshall, when you cant afford a big amp or go on stage, Line 6 is great too. both are good amps, according to your opinion

  • @surferboy14lp dont duck for covers and for this low price - marshalls are very expensive when you want a good one ;)

  • can you record playing and then transfer it to the computer?

  • @IMBACHABRI yes

  • No my friend has a Spider 3 half stack and I've played that, I did get a spider 4 when I wanted a new amp and it sounded like absolute fuckin ass so I took it back within a day. Im gonna be buying a spider 3 half stack in a couple weeks

  • @AngelOfChaos963

So did you think that the spider IV sounded worse than the 3? I have the Spider 3 HD 150w with a Crate cabinet... I love the sound of it, you can turn it INSANELY LOUD.

Check out my Song Eclipse on my channel, It's recorded with the Spider 3.

Anyway I've been thinking about getting the spider 4, but do you think it's a bad idea?

  • @MrToobyy i would personally stick with the Spider 3, i had a Spider 4 for like5 days before i took it back because i do not like the sound of it at all. it almost sounds too digital for me. i am going to guitar this weekend and picking up a Spider 3 HD150 and the 4x12 cab. my friend has it and it kicks ass lol i play a Schecter Synyster Custom too

  • 6:17= worlds gayest moments

  • from 3:04 - 3:22 sounds like a part from pokemon Blue and Red..only slower

    XD

  • you got a wife? mhmm

  • 1:07 nice overdrive for stratocaster ;O

  • @LiNx15 its an esp.. they're made for heavy distortion

  • @LiNx15 its an esp :)

  • @billytalentfan48 yes it is esp but its stratocaster all the time ;)

  • @LiNx15 Its not a Fender stratocaster though

  • @LiNx15

    Hummbucker FTW!

  • @LiNx15 It sounds nice because it's an esp model

  • @LiNx15 ESP <3

  • @LiNx15 not a stratocaster. its an esp

  • @themabin of course its a stratocaster you fool, the "strat" is the body shape, electronics ect, its still classed as a strat, just because its ESP, ESP is the BRAND identity, not the model

  • @ravenshield56 its an esp vintage plus

  • @LiNx15 it's an esp, so technically it's not a strat :D

  • @raresore but dude,. that guitar got 3 singles ! singles are made for clean, not for overdrive. ;)

  • @LiNx15 Actually 2 sigles 1 hum xD

  • AND he'susing the humbucker

  • @LiNx15 no, it has a HSS configuration, humbucker, single, single... you can see the humbucker pickup near the bridge, but even it was SSS (single coil pickups)you can still use overdrive, of course the results will be difficult, but guitarists like Yngwie Malsteem use a single coil strat with killer overdrive

  • @raresore well, swap the neck for a fender strat neck and it'll be a strat lol

  • @LiNx15 Thats no Strat thats a model.

  • @LiNx15 thats not a strat

  • @steve1233302 rly ? ops sry its Les Paul , sure sry ...

  • @LiNx15 it actually ain't a strat, strat is the name used for fender's charvel's and squier's guitars that have the "strat shape" aka countour body, brands like ESP, make guitars with the shape of the strat, but that doesn't make them real fender stratocasters

  • @LiNx15 It isn't a Strat, it's a strat-style copy, and it you look closely he's playing on the humbucker so it's no wonder it sounds good with overdrive.

  • @LiNx15 its an ESP guitar thats no strat

  • @LiNx15 That's not a strat, it's an ESP.

  • @Gamfreekz but it's the classic strat shape.

  • @Zaitso811 it's still an ESP. ESP uses the strat shape for their guitars.

  • @Gamfreekz in an ESP strat

  • @someone0209 it's still not a strat. it just has a similar body style but compared side by side there is differences.

  • @LiNx15 Its not a strat, its an ESP :)

  • @MasterImploder that is a strat with humbucker mics, STRAT is the guitar Shape nd design doesnt cares if its ESP jackson fender or ibanez its a strat cus the design is based on a stratocaster

  • @ChineseTOP Dude your a fucking dumbass!! Just because it has a strat body style does not make it a strat!

  • @MusicFan479 psh wathever.... u dont know shit.. Strat is the Looking of the guitar, go on google nd fucking google strat, strat = stratocaster, ESP IS THE MANUFACTURER, it can still be a Jackson strat, the manufacturer will be jackson but the guitar shape will be strat.., strat is a model not a fucking brand, fender was the first manufacturer but it's been copied by many cheap brands, get to know things before u come here insult me nd look like a DUMBASS

  • @LiNx15 thats cuz that aint a strat bro xD

  • @LiNx15 Well, it has a "fat strat" pickup configuration (humbucker on the bridge).

  • love his voice :P Gettin this amp for christmas!

  • I personally like the spider 3 a lot better

  • @AngelOfChaos963 yeah i think so too

  • @AngelOfChaos963 i bet you dont evn have a line 6 spider iv 75 ill believe you probably have a spider 3,your probably hating on it since you dont have one

  • nice;) I bay Line 6 Spider III 120 :D

  • Awsome other than 6:18- so gay!!

  • Thanks for a great demo Simon. Very helpful in my decision to buy.

I absolutely LOVE that Divided by 13 model. And the other features really make it a no brainer for what I'm looking for.

  • nice amp and this guy has a great ear for riffing and arangements.

  • please someone tell me.. peavy vyper 75 or line 6 spider iv 75?

  • @Ekwok94 i just tried peavey vypyr 75 today and a line 6 spider iv 30 i expected peavey to be better....but i liked line 6 better :) now it actaully depends on ur choice of sound :)

  • excellent, well done sir, pithy, succint, remarably entertaining, and let's not forget the charm of our host.

    again, very, very nicely done

  • everyone says the vypyr is better...i own the line 6 75 watt spy 4 and i think its great but i havent tryed the vyper...check both out before buying

  • @maciverandy The vypyr is way better. You have complete control over the effects used. It works just like an old fashioned amp. Controled by the knobs. The processor is powerful enough to allow for 5 effects at once. It's all good solid analog signal. I own the 30 watt and love it.

  • I just bought one yesterday, and I was able to get some nice tones out of it

  • How does One go about getting a sound Like at 1:15

  • @Nandwar213 its in one of the presets...or in one of the banks...i don't exactly know where...but after a while you'll surely will find it...it's called like aliens..or something like that...i think:D

  • @Distorted V12 sorry replied to the wrong guy- I meant the guy who was talking about the avt 100

  • Whoops. Sent the wrong guy the reply-

  • @DistortedV12 why? The avt series are awesome! Trust me I've owned both and side by side the avt is so much better- the line 6 is kinda tinny and muddy. Yea it has more features but the avt has a celestion speaker and valve powered preamp

  • get a peavey vypyr fuck this amp

  • @DimebagDarrellCFH13 Have you even played this amp?

  • @MrJuico1337

    Yepp :)

I and I'll still take the Peavey Vypyr anyday of the week.

  • @DimebagDarrellCFH13 That said, I haven't tried the Peavey Vypyr, but I ain't hatin' on it, yo!

At the very least, it has cooler lights than the line 6 :P

  • @MrJuico1337

Try it! and I bet you think the same way I do. I bet you'll do what I did. Sell your Line 6 and buy the Vypyr.

  • @DimebagDarrellCFH13 I don't even own a Line 6, I play one that is owned by the college I go to!

I'm planning to buy the Spider IV 120, but in the end I'll go by price and effect capabilities, I'm by no means a fanboy one way or the other so if I feel the Vypyr is better value I'll buy it!

  • @MrJuico1337

Thats the best way to do it. Get what fits your style and sound best.

    Good luck bud.

  • @DimebagDarrellCFH13 Thanks a lot, man.

It's refreshing to have a chat on youtube that doesn't descend into petty insults.

    Have a nice day! :)

  • @MrJuico1337

    You too :)

  • I got the line6 iv 75 last week and I love it! Great for the money!

  • i have a marshall avt100.. after watching this video, i feel like crying for my wasted money.

  • @adegamisoumounopano Are you retarded? How could you possibly think that buying a digital amp would be better than a tube amp? You probably just don't know how to eq it, idiot.

  • is this better then the marshall mg100

  • Nob head the only thing up his sleeve is a sweaty arm pitt

  • Comment removed

  • To all people who have this amp: Go into the User-presets, and select 3A. That one is great!

  • @dreske3 AM? It's got its uses I suppose. Personally I think "FM", which is preset 3D is pretty badass.

  • The good thing about line 6's is they model so many amps that they are great tools for finding the tones you want, and how you want to sound. Then you can demo higher end amps and see which produces your sound the best.

  • This pretty much kicks ass. Of course you'll need a footswitch, but this amp is a major step up from the spider III

  • wow, great!

    i bought one today :D

can you pls send me the lick at 5:1 :)

i want to try this one, too.

    Thx

  • @TheFelixPlayer i mean 5:01

    pls send it :)

  • demonstration fail

  • I still prefer the Vypyr.

  • just ordered one yesterday. should be getting it on friday

  • YES!!! i get to order one tomarrow!!
