Watts U-turn: climate denier now admits climate change is real

I don't think its correct say that Watts acknowledges that "climate change is real". It appears he is quoting "The Climate Wars Myth, by Dr. Bruno Tertrais". On the other hand, it is not necessary that Watts acknowledges a statistical fact (first decade of 21st century warmest on temp. record) in order for it to be relevant/true. On the contrary, the fact that, despite the obvious data, he still maintains that global warming is not true is a proof that we are dealing with a deluded individual.

Well, actually, it's half serious. I can give you lots of examples of misquotations by Murdoch's media of climate scientists that have had a devastating impact on their reputation. Ghost WMD's were enough reason to invade Iraq and cause a million deaths. Libelous claims of fraud by climate scientists has delivered us another few years of climate inaction and endless death threats to the scientists.

Hopefully some deniers will understand what they're doing.

I get it :-). Its a spoof on the Watts/Fox News - type of "argumentation". But don't get your hopes high waiting for the deniers to acknowledge their bias. Cheers
