@dmfoster77 No i'm not! I just plugged in a network cable and it worked. I don't use this anymore that's why there is no updates. And if you don't like it dont watch it. The video is 3 years old.

Anyone who has problem with not finding server, please do the following in your ps3. Most videos doesn't inform this but chances are this is the problem - Go to setting, network setting , and enable your media server connection ( remember to do this in the ps3). You really don't have to do this in Window Media Player. Basically, just enable server sharing on your computer and turn off your fire wall - that is pretty much all you have to do on the computer. The rest, you can do it on the PS3.

There is nothing to explain! I just plugged my PS3 to computer with a crossed network cable and it works.... No settings or anything changed from default windows. As for the song it is a replacement the one i had first got taken out of the video.....

Use a patched(crossed) lan cable to connect PC to PS3 then enable mediaserver on PS3..

Startup Windows media center and enable sharing.

Then within a min it should show up on the PS3

I use Vista i don't know if this works on XP

I dont do any other settings!!

If it does not work for you google: PS3 mediacenter tutorial and you'll find tutorials for almost all the mediaplayers
