I never really understood this girls appeal. She was a cute and stylish little thing but she didn't really have a great voice, and it often sounded like it was put on. A lot of people said they liked her coz she was 'different', and I think that's how she deliberately tried to be but even her 'quirkiness' seemed fake to me.

Straight singing prowess is one thing but artistic interpretation of a song is another thing altogether. It is these expressive connections that give life to any song...of course you still need singing ability to back it up but in my opinion, it's not as important. Listening too much to generic pop music can make you become deaf to these artistic qualities uneard through conventional hearing.

I want Diana to release this song, love the way she sings it. I would go as far to say it's my best version of Hallelujah. This is after listening to Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright, KD Lang, Elisa, Kate Voegele, Allison Cohen and John Cale's version. She interpreted the song perfectly and it's exactly how I like it to sound. It doesn't phase me one bit coming from an X-factor bootcamp session. Music is perceived and Diana in my opinion perceived the true spirit of this song.
