  • When Josef and the Farao died. The family of Josef, already grown into a large community. The next Farao put them into slave labour. From one of these slave families, Aaron was born, after his older brother Moses. These brother later led the Israel people out of Egypt.

So...that is where the Lost writers picked a couple of their names (and characteristics) from.

This is one of the most inspiring stories in the bible, and I personally find it awesome!

  • When the hunger finally reached the middle east, people from neighbouring countries came to trade for food. Among these people, also Josefs brothers came.

After Josef met his brothers and father again after all those years, he forgave them, and gave them a place to live. The land Gosen, close to the nile delta.

  • Whilst in slavery he got set up by the wife of his master, and got imprisoned. When he was in prison he heard that the Farao had a vision which he did not understand. Josef explained the vision, and got rewarded by being installed in Egypts 2nd place in command.

The vision of the Farao foretold the future. In the future a great hunger would overwhelm the middle-east.

  • Im gonna try (In somewhat poor English) to tell you where names as Jacob and Aaron come from.

abraham (abram) >> Isaac >> Jacob

One of Jacobs sons (Josef) became a slave of an Egyptian family after being sold by his jealous brother (because his father loved him most).

  • Who has work to do?

    Jack or Vincent!

    :D

  • dude dont tell me the island bring back the father of jack to life ? i think she will bring back jhon lock to life again

  • She?

  • yah, cause his body was missing from the coffin! So if the island can bring back people than that explains how Danielle comes back next season! and Ben and Jack could end up bringing Locke to the island and reserecting him!

  • my theory about christian is that the island brought him back to life for jacob to use him and eventually guide jack.

  • yeah but is he or is he not dead cos jacks flashforwards have confused me a little

  • GUYS! listen to THIS!!! in Lost episode 9 season 4, we see ben waking up on a desert the same way jack is now....AND! at 1:28 u see that same little black stick that Ben had when he was beating up those arabs...did jack time travel? SOMEONE REPLY TO THIS !

  • wow youre right, man thats a good theory

  • the black stick is called a telescopic baton. and i dont see one at 1:28

  • yeah .. its something there ... but i dont think its a baton ...

  • this is so awesome, when you see cabin fever you see that Christian is Jacobs helper...

  • trippy ass shit

  • Thanks for posting all those mobisodes. :)

  • The big mystery is FROGURT

  • lmao, true as life! xD

  • Jack's father is jacob.. We can see that on the first episode of the season 4 and here..

  • No he's not he was just sittin in jacobs chair.

And if he WAS jacob who was that guy on the window???

  • It is now confirmed that he is not Jacob (watch cabin fever), he is like his right hand or something...

  • it's his grandson

  • What? Do you think that Christian is Jacobs grandson? Where do you get that from?

  • it's justa theory, not {yet} cannon.

The Shephard bloodline runs deep with the Island. Christian was asked to speak on Jacob's behalf, Claire has been brought to the cabin (christians daughter) jack has landed on the island, aaron has a connection with the island.

Biblicaly, Jacob is Aaron's great great grandfather. So i put two and two together. All that remains is more info on Granda Shephard who has been mentioned, check lostpedia. what you think?

  • Yeah you are right that the shepard bloodline runs deep with the island, but where do you get the info that Jacob is Aaron's great great grantfather?

  • Read the best seller in the world, i think the name of the book is "The Bible" or something like that

  • haha nice:) No, indeed, I never read the Bible. So in the Bible there is a story where a certain Aaron is the great great grandson of a certain Jacob?

It should be a nice easter egg from the lost writers again:p

  • Aaron was the brother of Moses, Moses was scared of public speaking (which is why he argued with God). It was Aarons job to help Moses with the Israelites.

  • @Lolzerzomg This is why I think Aaron was really Jacob. Or meant to be Jacob..He was born on the island just like Jacob and Nemesis was..

  • A fossilized bear with a DHARMA tag proves objects are moving through time, by intent, or by glitch caused by transporters moving material faster than light. The 2nd bunny #15describes paradoxical existence of not parallel universes, but parts of the same continuim expressed as doppelganger.

Who else may be a doppelganger? Is the flash forward to an alternate universe caused by restructuring the past?

Is Benkilling HANSO execs, to stop them from altering present and future?

    On Lost?

  • Jack's father is alive, because the HANSO invention, transporter or time machine, contains a photoshop program, that fixes dropout when it moves an object from point A to B. Jack's dad's "dropout" was "missing life". Locke's was paralysis caused by nerve damage, repaired when he went through the temporal wormhole that is the pathway for transport.

Using construct, rather than happenstance or "the island has properties" gives a layer of control that both explains more McGuffin (why).
