First of all: I'm using the Bible's meaning, while you're just using Its words.

Secondly: when the Bible was translated into English centuries ago, "Ghost" and "Spirit" were synonyms. Now-days it doesn't, thanks to cultural advancements.

Lastly: The Western Church (The Americas) solely use "Holy Spirit" for respect, while the Eastern Church (Europe, Africa,& Asia) use both "Holy Spirit" and "Holy Ghost" for tradition's sake.

Of course, as long as you have the originals that means that your point is completely valid because you alone will know for sure that the bible is talking about the alpha and the omega and not just the "beginning and the end" that later was translated into popular phrases by greeks.

Actually, the Bible was written in several different languages originally: the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, and the New Testament was written in Koine Greek, because it was a universally well known language, like English&Spanish are today.

So Alpha and Omega weren't translated, they were written down (since that phrase only appears in the New Testament).

Anyone with basic Biblical knowledge knows this, you don't need the originals.

It looks to me as if it's supposed to replace the number. Super Mario 1, Super Mario 2, Super Mario Omega. The end all of Mario hacks if you will.

The coins are actually directly ripped from the Super Mario Advance series so there's not really any new meaning behind what the A stands for.
