@matthewhouston69 Well lets start with a BB gun. A 5.5gr BB going 300 fps will give you about 2 foot pounds this will also penetrate a steel can point blank. But is a larger projectile at (4.5mm) then a 2mm bullet so it needs the extra foot pound to penetrate. The 2mm is so small it does not require as much power to penetrate objects. Now pellet guns, A .22 cal pellet gun shooting a 14gr pellet at 600 FPS will give you 12 foot pounds this is more then enough power to kill all small to med game.

will they penetrate skin? my brother shot me last weekend with a .22 rimfire in the arm fromt about 200 feet with a scope and i pulled it out with tweezers. so how powerfull are these>?

@matthewhouston69 Cant say that was smart. I sure hope you did not do this on purpose. Must have been a .22 short firing from a pistol. That would get you 30-50 foot pounds at the muzzle. A rifle shooting a short will give you around 90-100 foot pounds. A long rifle out of a rifle will give you 130 foot pounds.A 2mm bullet going 1000 FPS with give you 1.1 foot pounds. At point blank this will penetrate a steel can.So yes it will penetrate skin.Could even make its way to your heart threw a artery
