Asia market including Singapore needs this kind of phone like ATRIX to really push the market and knocks iPhone, HTC, Samsung and others to the toilet bowl.

@HDMovieScenes So this is the non 4G advert, and product announced for Europe and no doubt asia at some point. Its the worlds first qHD display so you get incredibly brightness and deatil, better pixels so fit more on the screen (eg websites) and yet designed to be lower in battery consumption than its super amoled counter parts.

@motorola OK, hope Motorola is making good design choices to facilitate upgrades to 2.3 & 3.0 ASAP. Reason I'm ditching Samsung is their failure to upgrade old devices. Plus they rely on several closed source blobs (like HTC) and make 'rooting' harder than needed. Google does the opposite: mostly open, fast upgrades, fastboot with easy unlock (why do companies think this is bad?) Unfortunately Nexus hardware is behind and their marketing sucks. Still, many people go Google just to have 2.3

This phone is literally almost perfect!

I can see the new standard being set by Moto.

Only thing that has me questioning the phone is in regards to the rear camera. I'm not too good with phones, but why is it that the Atrix has a 5mp camera while we know that Moto is really capable of an 8mp camera? Is it because of the space or for variety in phones?

Digging the phone, it's a phone that doubles as a laptop!

With regards to the camera perspective, there are number of factors: this device, despite its enormous power, is still svelte like, and increasing megapixels was likely to impact that. We also didn't want any bulges since the docking nature of this phone is critical. Finally, in most conditions the 5 vs 8 quality of pic is negligible. Thanks

i really want to get this phone but i had the motorola dext and motorola decided to leave the uk version with android 1.5 but update the exact phone but the us version to 2.1 which was very unfair and they didnt even give us a reason! So now im in two minds about motorola...
