Trolley buses have a problem, a need to connect to overhead power.

Battery powered buses have limited range, perhaps a few miles.

But a battery/trolley hybrid just might be the answer.

In areas where overhead lines are not an issue it could operate as any trolley bus, and charge batteries while in operation.

But once on the freeway, or in a residential area, battery power.

I saw them in San fransisco, and other place, they should put in overhead powerlines for busses so nobody smells Diesel and it burns less fuel.

putting in electric trolley bus is lot cheaper than building Light rail system because they don't have to take down business building, so all they need is overhead powerline for these buses and they work great if buses goes through your neighborhood.

Trolleybuses are great! We need to inform and educate more people on decision making level to promote this kind of transportation. People should have the right to know more and be informed and this video was a great example for other cities to follow.

the trolley buses here in boston work great in the summer spring and fall but when winter comes the overhead wires freeze up and the buses wont run even though their are ice cutter's running they still want work
