ACTUALLY..the shelters don't humanely euthanize animals. But that's only because they can't do that for all animals, its too much money. I know people who work there, and since they have so many dogs and cats they end up having to get a bunch of them and put them in this gas thing, and its a pretty painful death, so yeeaaah thats why people should adopt from shelters. its horrible :/

PETA kills upwards 80% of the animals they shelter annually. Then they go and protest humane societies for killing animals for the very same reasons. The difference is, PETA dumps the animal corpses in dumpsters behind restaurants.

Anyone else see the hypocracy there?

Actually PETA protests no-kill shelters that refuse to humanely euthanize the animals they keep, even though it means over crowding and neglect for those animals. PETA only euthanizes animals they cannot find safe homes for. PETA has always been supportive of humane societies that treat their animals with dignity. As for the animal corpses in dumpsters, that's just ridiculous rumors. People who work for PETA are passionate about treating animals (and their corpses) with respect.

Peta "only" euthanizes about 80% of the animals they take in (using illegal drugs, dumping the corpses behind restaurants, etc) while protesting other people killing the animals MORE HUMANELY than they do.

HYPOCRITES, and the fact that you buy their bull only speaks to how trusting and naive you really are

ahaha if meat is murder than I am guilty of GENOCIDE, and I will NEVER stop. I scarf down meat like every day. Part of my every meal. So 2 or 3 times a day I enable and support the murder of several animals. Today I had steak for dinner, and bacon for breakfast. Yesterday I had pork shnitzel, back bacon and chicken wings. I could go on and on. I'm going to go cook up the rest of the back bacon now, it'll be delicious. Then I'll probably microwave some turkey leftover from canadian thanksgiving

We are natural omnivores, meant to eat meat. Why else would we have canines? Why else would the appendix be vestigial? Why would our stomach producr hydrochloric acid? Why would the human pancreas manufacture enzymes to handle meat?

We aren't supposed to JUST eat meat, but we aren't supposed to JUST eat vegetables and fruits either. WE ARE OMNIVORES!

Not eating meat for whatever personal reasons are fine, but science is NOT on your side.
