Speaking in tongues is ONE of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There are others. Also the Bible says that speaking in tongues should have an interpreter, without one you are edifying yourself and not God.

@gracegift2007 amen to this... there are those who think THE gift of the Holy Ghost is evident by speaking in tongues... scripture doesn't say that. There are many evidences of His Spirit in a person's life. One thing is for sure... those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!!!
