  • @maniactive i can't find your sample of video down loader.....!!is their any other sample of down loader like that pls....reply..i need it for our project..ty

  • Thank you :)

  • thank you very much, you are an exceptionally smart individual. :)

  • the sound in this video is just garbage, just like the first one with the internet connection....

  • Awesome! Needed to download a video for work and your tutorial just made me the queen of the office! LOL

  • karate chimpanzee lolz

  • use keepvid.com much more easier

  • can i do this without firefox

  • thank you! thank you!

  • This isn't "embedding" it, this is inserting it from your computer. What I mean is, if you saved the powerpoint file, and then moved it onto another computer, the video wouldn't work.

  • @RawrCommentor does it really happen that way cuz ive gotta submit this ppt project to my teacher n shes gonna be opening it on her laptop!!!!

  • @6Chicify Unless you put both files in a USB and your teacher plays it from the USB rather than what most teachers do, move the file into their computer, the video wouldn't work.

  • @RawrCommentor so ya mean if i put both the files in a usb the vid wud wrk in the prsntation ?

  • I CAN'T FUCKING DELETE SUPER OFF MY COMPUTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • the game

  • easier way to do this without downloading crap but your video nor having to convert it just goto savevid.com put the URL downloads the vidoe at your choice extension do as she says from there toda!!! less work less space!!

  • when i tried this powerpoint was not responding. i tried this several times and same thing happened.

  • Aw thank you so much for this tutorial! I tried so many other things and tutorials, but nothing really worked!:)

This worked, as you say, like a doozy! :D

  • This was really helpful, thanks!

  • Cool!!! Thanks a lot!!!

  • Very nice presentation, thank you !

  • This is kinda informative. but gosh this lady sound like a bia bia

  • Thanks again - this is GREAT help! Fabulous tutorial.

  • thank you

  • i didn't get no pop-up??? why??

  • hope this work with me ;)

    thank´s

  • cool

  • Zillatube does work for me though. i just use their latest version - downloaded and converted the video.

    Finally just insert into powerpoint.

  • The easiest (and cheapest) way I found to do it was to download the free uTube downloader. Then, after you dowload the vid, you use the uTube downloader to convert the file to wmv format. Just make sure that you save the converted file in the same file folder as your PP and you'll be fine. I even used the uTube converter with a vid from another sigt and it converted it just fine. I wasted money on Zillatube, which NEVER worked right and they never refunded me or contacted me like I asked.

  • I have never had put movies on a power point before. I just downloaded the Super but it doesn't have an mpeg option, what should I use instead? I'm totally new to all of this so any help would be great! Thanks so much for posting such a brilliant video, totally helped me (at least up to this point) :o)

  • Does anyone know answer to this question?

If I'm putting a youtube video onto my ppt on my laptop which has powerpoint 2007, save it to my flash drive to then take to school and it is an older version on powerpoint, will it work when I get there? I don't want to spend a couple hours on this and then not have it work.

  • try saving your ppt as an older version (the version you school has) and see if it plays

  • The Super program you spoke of is no longer free. There's a charge...

  • Umm, no. Check the Super website, it's still free, and adamantly so.

  • Use ZillaTube to download from YouTube...... at fast speed to your computer, and also convert so easily to powerpoint video file.

Then just insert that video into your powerpoint

just google for "zillatube" It works awesome.

  • @tomjazzz Thanks man :)

  • @tomjazzz How do you convert a video? (I'm only nine and i am using my cousins account so be nice!)

  • The sound is very bad on your vids ?

    But the subject is great

  • The video downloader for the current version of

Firefox is "adware.." The downloader used in this video doesn't work with the updated version of Firefox. Anybody know of a safe video downloader for the current of Firefox, Explorer,or Google Chrome?

  • Get Orbit and use Grab++. Grabs any flash video, anywhere.

  • same here...it only works on old versions

  • omg youre amazing. thaaaank youuu

  • Is there a way to do this in the old version of ppt

  • THe program Super is so "super"!!! Cliche lol... but seriously its a good program

  • Thank you so much!!! I have to do a presentation for work and you are a life saver. It was quick and easy. You really broke it down step by step.

  • Thanks. Another point that must be made though is that if you transfer your powerpoint presentation file onto another computer without the media file that you had just converted to mpg, your powerpoint video will not play. Many think that the video itself is embedded within the presentation when actually it's linked to the separate media file. Not sure if a change had been made with PP 2007. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks again. :)

  • my firefox is to new?

  • saaaame

  • sounds like sarah palin

  • since firefox updates it's browser every fukin month i cant download the add on!!!!

  • can u add text on top of the video?

  • it says forbidden! plz help me!

  • Thank you so much. I am a computer idiot and this was so helpful. I will say though that the free video downloader for the current version of firefox did not work. A freind at work told me to try download helper and I googled that instead and it worked great. Everything else here was spot on.

  • Thank you soooooooo much!!!

  • thank you though for the other info.:)

  • um....the newer version uses realplayer downlloader...can you just do the same thing?

  • i downloaded it and stuff but i have a newer version of firefox.... where does the little icon show up??

  • thank you

  • aww what about aol?

  • Wait...did you say password? Don't you mean URL?

  • Thanks so much! You are an amazing teacher. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us!!!

  • thx

  • Really helpful, even though I'm using a newer version of Firefox, I was still able to find a video downloader add-on that worked great (I chose Download Helper, and though I only used it once, it worked great). Thanks for the very useful instructions!

  • if u are using a portable hard disc or drive u must have the powerpoint in it and u need insert the video from the same folder IN the driver for example i want add a video about chimps i need a powerpoint, open ppoint, insert video ,insert video from the driver or hard disc(portable) and then u can bring it everywere the same happens to mp3 songs u need to do same or it wont load so u will have that problem i learned one afternoon doing school proyect xD

try this it must work =)

  • glob

  • thank you very much!

  • Thanks, this was a big help!

  • I having a trouble with my power point, I was following your instruction but on the power point itself it keep saying "Power Point cannot insert a movie from the selected file. Verify that the path and file format are correct and try again"

Also the video downloader you are using is only an experimental so would it matter if I use a different video downloader?

  • i think doesnt matter the downloader u wont add youtube site u only will insert the video

u can use real player beta for example i really suggest this program but the problem is it saves videos to file.rpb (think it is)

  • This wont work. I get an error message that says i dont have permission.

  • can u like upload a ppt. onyto youtube?is it possible it wont work 4 me

  • niceee only one problem when u send the powerpoint to other people and they open it on their computer the video wont play because the link will be broken.... how do i fix it so when i send it to another person they too can also view the video?

  • Yeah, you have to do that, otherwise it wont work

  • niceeee. ong one problem when u send th powerpoint to otherr people the video wont play because the link will be broken... how do i fix this?

  • The yellow dot of the cursor is through Camtasia Studio---an excellent program to have.

  • good lord to involved.

  • What software do you use to show the yellow bubble at the cursor location? That's very useful! Thanks in advance.

  • Use Camtasia, it has this feature.

  • the page i went to did not have "install now" only "download"

  • too many steps, i know a better way to insert a video from the web into your power point much easier than that...

  • rofl idiots.. just go to google and download newest realplayer, and then u can download youtube videos... a little pop up will always come when u watch movies, and it says ( download ) and thats it.. not hard

  • PowerPoint won't play RealPlayer.

  • lol why

  • thanks for the tip... :)

for embedding to powerpoint offline the easiest way ... :>>

i use "zillatube"... it downloads and converts to mpg video format quickly..

then just insert the mpg into powerpoint, so now you can be presented offline..(just make sure the mpg is placed together with the powerpoint file in the same folder then take it anywhere for presentation)

...it works - easy and fast... just google or yahoo search for "zillatube"

  • Hey, you seem pretty techno-savvy - plleaaase please help me. I understand that downloading zillatube is easy enough, and have done that - but how can you embed that into a powerpoint presentation? Is it possible? what's the "mgp" pleease reply ill be soo grateful

  • ok.. it worked wonderfully, but the actual speed of the video is very slow... is there anything that would help me speed it up. I did everything as you said, and this is due promptly, so i would immensely appreciate a soon response.. Thank You

  • There are loads of YouTube rippers on the net. Just do some Googling using "ripzor", or "youtube rippers" as your search terms. God luck.

  • i dunno if the site has changed but i canr download super

  • yeah i had the same problem of not being able to find it... GetVideo on the firefox add ons is the same thing.

  • Every time I click on "get video" it tells me there is no video on the page? do you know if I may be doing something wrong?

  • i can't find video downloader !

  • also fast way is to use "zillatube"

It downloads and converts to mpg video format which can easily be embedded into powerpoint..

    it's so easy... at zillatube(dot)com

  • I am reading this plugin no wonder works with Youtube.
