who ever uploaded this song you cut a full verse outta the song...now if you pay attention im sure ill make ya laugh. we never went to steal the sheep, we went to steal the calf. the old cow she got angry cause we woke her from her sleep. we couldnt take any chances so we had to steal the sheep....thats the 2nd verse of the song n its not on here!!!! you dunn fucked up!!!!!

Ben Weatherby was actually the person who wrote and performed the answer song to Aunt Martha's Sheep and he was also the producer on Dick Nolan's original hit from his " Fisherman's Boy " album. This is one of my favourite Newfoundland songs. And for some reason I associate it with Christmas. Anyway, Dick Nolan just received a lifetime award on ECMA ceremonies on the weekend. No one deserves it more.
