hello from spain. i have to say that this movie is under my opinion, the best movie of karate that i ever seen. if this movie is not popular is because shows the real truth behind this unique martial art, in place of all the shit of nowadays. sorry for my poor english, and again great movie.

The style shown in this movie is Goju Ryu, but only Gyryu is actually a Goju Ryu expert. Taikan is a Shotokan karateka.

Anyway it's a wonderful movie. The first where everyone is shown WITHOUT special computer effect

That is Goju Ryu style founded by Sensei Chojun Miyagi. This is the tradition for the karateka masters.
