It's amazing, this level is scripted to the point where everything happens a specific way but I would still LOVE to play it. I have a copy of the Halo 2 Beta but not this unfortunately :/ hopefully someone can re-make this one day.

That gave me absolutely crazy goosebumps. The audience reaction is immense, and the footage is amazing. I wish that whole sequence was in there. I remember waiting for it when playing the game. The vibe from this vid was, just, wow.

Personally I am glad Bungie is done with Halo. I think they got tired of their own franchise and it reflected in their quality of work with Halo 2 actual and Halo 3. I think Halo with 343 making sure everything is correct canonically can not be destroyed. I don't even think Treyarch could mess up Halo as badly as Halo 3 did for me.

This e3 demo is so beautiful. The sounds, the crowd reaction. Everything.

I want another moment like this for my most favorite franchise..

I don't think you know what "you're" talking about either. I can't blame the crowd for their lack of excitement, but I'm pretty sure e3 is open to everyone now and not just the media.

As for dgx - Brother, did you hear the crowd reaction to the unveiling of the 3DS' game lineup? Specifically when they showed Zelda? So much for stiff upperlip crowds - I think the hardcore fans with a voice, that aren't just bungie drones, don't wanna get excited. I'm weary too, but we'll see :3

Comparing the reaction here to the more recent e3s . . . I see a smaller and smaller Halo fan audience year after year. It's so heart breaking. But this is the kind of immersion and action that Halo fans want. But it seems every year - every new Halo game - something shown off just gets taken away. People got tired of that. I am so sad and tired of the Halo games not living up to their marketing or their show floor demos. Did anyone see the showing for the Comic Con panel? I wanted to cry

Not true, Halo 2 was the only time that happened.

Unfortunately, people got tired of Halo in general. If Bungie had a choice, Halo 2 would not have been rushed and released in '07. If Microsoft let them, Halo 3 would be really new and would have been they're last halo game. I know bungie.

Bungie never would have been past halo 3, because all they're previous games ended at that point.

Shame this actual *level* never made it into the final game, although the warthog segment did/was in the game (just the bit with the guass hog).
