So you get 2HD4870 in crossfire. There is one who kind of stole 2 from is shop and put out a benchmark of them in crossfire... It´s huge. I´m talking huge here. 300fps yes 300fps i call of duty 4 in everything in maxed aa and af.
The Hd4850 is also a good solution but they are to hot not just in an sexy way but they get like 88c. HD4850 out perform 9800GTX in higher resolutions so yeah ATI's breakthrough is here. It´s just like when ATI came out with 9800pro
buy a E7200 for about 90-115$ and overclock it with the stock cooler to 3ghz and it will perform at the speed of a E8400 and you can even push it to 3.8 with new cooler. Btw I know he post it like 6month ago but if we are talking about the now not I would go with the HD4870 Omg, It out performed GTX280 and 9800X2 i bioshock I know I know it´s in one game but still it get close to the GTX280 that cost like 650-700$ and HD4870 is at 349$ I mean lol.

I believe you are right about that one, sort of, because crt's do have a better picture when it comes to sharpness. LCD's sharpness levels seem higher than crt but everything else is fine when it comes to the colors. and yes when movies go black the brightness levels are better on crt's just like you said, perfect black. but I'm not sure what you meant by the contrast ratios are better for more 3D technologies, but I might have an idea.
Hello. I didn't mean the contrast ratio for a CRT will make use for more 3D technologies :) It's just the way the CRT screen is "refreshed" Just like you see it on a movie when someone looks at a CRT screen (black bar). I believe LCDs have shaper images, but they are also limited to one "perfect" resolution. And if your computer can't handle a game at that resolution your experience of the game will probably be decreased. Then again. LCDs uses less power, takes less space and weight less.
BTW, the Deathadder is the only Razer mouse I can put up with because it's chunky. The others are wayyy too flat and hard to handle. Logitech gaming mice are much more comfortable IMO, I use the MX518.

Pretty good vid, but 2 say the 8800GTX performs like two 8800 GT cards is simply WAAAAAY wrong--check out the benchmarks. The 8800Gt is almost on a par with the GTX except on super high resolution settings. Buy two GT's for not much more than a single GTX and that difference is reversed...
no its not.... my AMD 2.38 3200+ passed the dual core in game recommendations. know why? because on most games only 1 core is utilized and intels cores are for tiny calculations, while AMD is for large ones. as of now, my AMD single is as fast as a dual core running both cores. my 2.38 is equivalent to intels 3.9. blam.

Logan U are generally spot on wid ur facts but the 8800 gt is gettin better results on the benchmarks somtimes only by a little sometimes a lot. but otherwise great video.
first, you have 8800ULTRA! it's faster than GTX! i won't be supprised if it's 8 frame faster, you are paying 200 dollar more. 2nd, you can SLi 8800GT for around 100 to 200 dollar less? if the efficiency of SLi is 80% then 15 x 1.8 = 27 FPS. Also are you saying you have both 8800Ultra and 8800GT? other wise how do you know the your bench mark is accurate? i got mine from reviewing websites, where they tested both cards on the same test bed.
No actually I paid about 50 dollars more and no more I'm actually pretty clever. As for Sling for 100-200 dollars less thats nonsense. I don't have a GT I did read benchmarking sites though. Ultra isn't that much faster then a GTX btw. Anyways, Im done wasting my time with you I said my piece.
considering how high vendor jack the price of 8800GT, $420 is awesome price for 8800GTX(considering you can Sli it). but not everybody have a friend that works in tiger, and when the price go back to the MRSP(200-250) you are paying 200 dollar for less than 2 frame in crysis. :(
according to benchmarks from multiple sites, 8800GTX is 1.5 to 2 frame faster at 1920 x 1200. the only time 8800GTX shows it's advantage is with AA 4x @1920 x 1440, 8800GTX lead by 10 frame or so. but who can honestly say they play their game at 1920 x 1440 with AA? the difference is barely noticeable other than your frame drops for no good reason.
just to point out, i did enjoy the review(like where you talk about 3870, i even did some research on 3870 after watching), i just didn't like giving out wrong idea to the consumers

The frame itself is glossy, the screen is not.
It's still an amazing monitor, I've had it for 3 months and have had no issues whatsoever.
Comes with the DVI and VGA cables too.

i hope you are aware of GTX only lead by 2 frame compared to GT at high and only 1 and half at medium! KNOW YOUR FACTS BEFORE POST!!!!

Aha, I got an 8800 Ultra, from what I've read the GT gets 15 fps at the highest settings in Crysis, I get 25 fps. Stfu k? Good.

first, you have 8800ULTRA! it's faster than GTX! i won't be supprised if it's 8 frame faster, you are paying 200 dollar more. 2nd, you can SLi 8800GT for around 100 to 200 dollar less? if the efficiency of SLi is 80% then 15 x 1.8 = 27 FPS. Also are you saying you have both 8800Ultra and 8800GT? other wise how do you know the your bench mark is accurate? i got mine from reviewing websites, where they tested both cards on the same test bed.

No actually I paid about 50 dollars more and no more I'm actually pretty clever. As for Sling for 100-200 dollars less thats nonsense. I don't have a GT I did read benchmarking sites though. Ultra isn't that much faster then a GTX btw. Anyways, Im done wasting my time with you I said my piece.

my friend who works at tiger can get the eVga 8800GTX Superclocked for me for $420!! ($640 originally) so for me it is worth the money.

considering how high vendor jack the price of 8800GT, $420 is awesome price for 8800GTX(considering you can Sli it). but not everybody have a friend that works in tiger, and when the price go back to the MRSP(200-250) you are paying 200 dollar for less than 2 frame in crysis. :(

according to benchmarks from multiple sites, 8800GTX is 1.5 to 2 frame faster at 1920 x 1200. the only time 8800GTX shows it's advantage is with AA 4x @1920 x 1440, 8800GTX lead by 10 frame or so. but who can honestly say they play their game at 1920 x 1440 with AA? the difference is barely noticeable other than your frame drops for no good reason.
