Just to clear one thing up, pertaining to your instructions - bacteria will not grow in the bottle of peroxide. Peroxide kills bacteria, that's why it's used to treat cuts.

@divandria Probably because your eyebrows are darker they need a more intense routine. Whenever you go to do it leave it on all night. When you wake up, apply a small amount when you go to work or school and let it dry before you put makeup on. Like I said, peroxide is perfectly safe as it is made and used for the skin. It won't harm you unless you get it directly in your eye! So please be careful. Do this an extra day or so...take before and after pics this helps u spot differences..good luck!

i personally don't pluck my eyebrows but i find that they are thick sometimes...this is why i sometimes bleach them... thanks for the tip, i hate when the hair grows back in and you can see the roots...i only bleach some hair (strays etc) so it looks weird when the roots are one colour...but this should mean easy maintenance !! yay!

What colour do you use for dying your hair?

@OompaLoompapa I personally use Revlon Frost and Glow to bleach then I go over it with a light blonde shade...the colors will depend on your personally preference and your skin tone but go with whatever you personally want it will make you happier. Right now I'm using Ion hair color from Sally Beauty Supply and it works awesome. Really rich color but be careful to choose the right shade. N means nuetral, V means violet and so forth for the tones. 1-5 is the depth of the shade....good luck!!

@cuddlebearblb: Ummm I've done this for over a year now. Peroxide like this is perfectly harmless if you use it without getting it in your eyes or abusing it. When used properly (as directed above) it is perfectly safe and effective. Bleach is more harmful.

You leave it on all night. This is the most effective method, it's great because it doesn't bleach a whole lot, just enough to do the job. It's a great way to bleach with you being in control of how little or how great the lightening effects will be. Thanks for your comment and have a great new year!

No it would not turn it orange, because the ingrediants in it is also works as an anti-brass automatically making it not orange or any such color. It's perfectly safe for asian brows as far as I am aware. If you want a lighter brown I would suggest bleaching ten minutes before you wash you face so that the bleach doesn't have as much time to lighten them. Do it everyday until your satisfied with the results. Take a pic in natural light before and after to compare. Good luck!

I'm sorry it has taken so long to answer, but yes I have done this before, but I must warn you, if you do this make sure you get some blonde hair glaze treatment to use afterwards so that your hair really is blonde. Use color enhancing shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair as well, otherwise you might not like the tone. All and all, your welcome and it's also a great natural highlighting method.

I have done this before, but as I said below, I would recomend that you use a color enhancing glaze treatment afterwards to keep your hair tone neutral. You can buy John Freida salon glazing treatment at walmart, Walgreens, Ulta, Sally Beauty Supply and other places for $10. Use a color enhancing shampoo to keep your colored hair looking good and if you want to go really light use a bleaching kit instead. I would only recomend going a shade or two lighter with the peroxide. Good luck and thanks!
