I work with away3d and pv3d, and in my opinion I prefer to use pv3d cause is more flexible with the movie material and manipulating the collada files. In the last months people start to spread the rumor that pv3d is dead. If it is, we should try to help the project in some way to do not let die (molehill staff).
Hello, I'm a flash game programmer dealing with the endless problem of not being able to properly export collada from a 3dsoftware to papervision. Just recently I've tried exporting from Swif3D using their "export object to papervision3d" feature. Sure, that works, but I think it's only because they changed the paerser within the papervision libraries.
