  • @Wiseman501 sum 1 throwing up the peace sign

  • This has always been one of his best unreleased shows for me. This song in particular was amazing live!

  • !!!ESTA CANCION ES FENOMENAL ES SUPER ME DAN GANAS DE GRITAR SALTAR QUIEN MAS DEL MAESTRO DE MAESTROS JOE SATRIANI......VERY GOOD EXCELLENT GUITARRISTA FOREVER!!!!!!!THE MAXIMO.............

  • he is better than Eddie VanHalen.

  • Absolutely my favorite tune by joe!!!!!!

  • It's been said that cd version is better... The whole Surfing with the Alien is just glorious. BUT, Joe always kicks ass live, and this performance is absolutely no exception to that. I unconditionally love Lords of Karma, and this video was a total delight. Thanks for uploading, by the way. Awesome concert. I'm gladly surprised that it has the same format as the LIVE 2006. I'm happy :D

  • this song is for some reason thrilling to hear and play....why I wonder?

  • awesome...

  • I fucking love the melody since 3:27. One of the best satch's interludes

  • @gasfervis totally agree man ! and 2:32

  • I dont think hes human that was impossible.

  • yeah...this live performance is amazing!!!!! FUCKIN LOVE SATCH

  • ahah I like when he jumps like this at 4:10

f*cking good song, I'm glad to see it live, he never plays it :(

  • white t shirt sanyone?

  • Does anyone know what effect joe is using in this performance?

  • Is this inclueded in the LIVE! (Anaheim 2006) DVD?

  • @mangus Sadly, no..

  • LONG LIVE SATRIANI!!!!!!!

  • lol both Satch and Vai get the same rapeface when they're shredding :P

  • 2:02 lol his face :D everytime he's doing some ultimate shredding, he bends his neck like that! :D

  • Who knew Dr. Evil rocked so hard! ;-) j/k Joe rocks!

  • his most underrated song

    just awesome

  • very cool perfomance of "Lords Of Karma"

  • i prefer the studio version but , its not one of the songs he choose to do live , it is a hard song to pull of live ! but he's done amazing !

  • Sweet.... this song is really cool :D. Live version is outstaing! It sound different without real sitar on stage but it's great anyway !!! Thanx to Mr. Joe ;].

  • well its a really awesome song, and it may sound out of tune because he uses two different tonalitys in the solo (two bars one tonality, next two bars other tonality). thats why it sound odd. also he uses some non regular scales at the beginning so it sounds more exotic.

  • joe is awesome

  • My friend! Thank you so much for uploading these videos. I have the webcast saved, but could never find versions on youtube to share with friends. Thank you so much for the uploads! Would you possibly be able to add more? Such as Summer Song, Searching, War, Surfing, and Is there love in Space?

As for the performance. It is one of his best live shows I feel. He rocked on so many of these songs and I think the band really backed him. I especially love Matt Bissonette on bass for this show!

  • Jesus Christ!!! , it doesnt sound like Joe. and why are they performing this piece so fast?? Lol the drummer looks like he's in a rush. lol

  • Agreed, genbarnaky. Joe did his job. Any poor tonal quality comes from the recorder or the uploader.

  • This performance is awesome .....Joe is awesome....the band is awesome ....end of story.... done

  • u people r nutz this version kicks ass!!!! lol love it!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TylerFrisk Yea man its very close to the time machine live version which was as good as it gets for me. This would be nice to hear in HQ.

  • the rhythm player needed to boost up the vol at 2:28 poor thing sounded like one of my garbage picked guitars lol

  • i think he had one of his worse days. generally i like his live shows much more than studio records. but this time i like cd ver. more

  • I really don't know why you people are complaining about his performance on this video. I personally think he's done a great performance and its way better than the studio version.

  • @genbarnaky ,

well, i think for some reason this performance sounds out of tune in some parts... i don't know why... maybe he's trying to make an improvisation

  • @genbarnaky Agree

  • @genbarnaky I totally agree!

  • @genbarnaky the melody is better on the studio track but his guitar is better

  • @genbarnaky true...and this kind of music is impossible to play 100% every time

  • @genbarnaky people are too used to Studio engineered music.. cant handle the on the spot in-prov and refined sound... i like the studio version of this song better just because the Rhythm guitar is actually audible... plus it seems like most live versions are slightly faster than normal... he still rocks the shit outa anything he plays tho

  • @soundnaut

yes, it sounds sounds out of tune...

  • Not his best performance, but I love it anyways. Great video 5*
