how dit you work the nes signal on this psone screen cuzz the psone screen aspect rgb signal will the nes signal is composite so how dit you split up the nes signal into rgb, also how dit you make the nes image look great on lcd screen, cuzz normaly the nes will look, blocky, strappy or halve the details will missing on it.
is there a how to? like any resistors or what, I'm 100% new to this stuff and i understand this video is rather old but if you or anyone has any recommendations for making a portable nes using 6 AA batteries in particular please let me know i mean i really hate trying to hook up the rechargables and using rechargable aa's seems my best option but there are no instructions for accomplishing this that i can find and the links aren't helping much otherwise thanks. also sweet pnes or is it a nesp?
that's what i have been doing for the past 6 or so days and i can't find anything i finally gave in and made a forum post and that's not got any replies yet sorry
I kinda agree with you. This was my first portable so it was basically a learning experience. After I finish a couple other projects, I'm going to redo a few things. Move the cartridge to the back, add turbo fire, and install li-po batteries.
Im looking at the LED mod for the screen, and I see that the corners look a lot bright than the rest of the screen, is it that noticeable from a players perspective?, do you know what was the power requeirement before and after the LED PsOneLcd mod ?
What a beautiful system. :-) I just bought a FC Mobile 2, but your NES is much better styled. (Except of course, with the red/black cord in the back, but hey, it works! :-) )
Looks sweet, do you plan on doing any other consoles? I've had some interest in doing a portable SNES but I think I want to start with a NOAC unit first. Any general suggestions?
Here's my suggestion..... Pick the system you like the most. It will give you motivation to finish the project and when are done you will actually enjoy playing it.
OH MY GOODNESS! Don't play that Nintendo World Championships 1990! You could sell that for $5,000 or more!!!
flexyldy 9 months ago
@flexyldy That's a repo btw. Imho games are meant to be played, not sitting in a safe deposit box. :)
TheWizDawg 9 months ago
@TheWizDawg Oh... I was wondering why it was blue! But, when you have a rare game, it's worth more when it's in good condition.

@TheWizDawg another thing I would do would be to sink the cartridge in more, that looks like it could break easily.

thats the best portable nes i've seen
and does to ps1 screen have speakers?
or did you add your own speakers?
and how do you wire a nes control to the mobo?

hey, is it hard to connect the ps1 screen to teh console? like, do u have to solder anything or are they just clip in?
jeremydoc 2 years ago
hey, no it is not hard but like yes you will have to solder. I use Hakko 907 24V 50W soldering iron and recommend it.
