HEALTH IN$URANCE taking my $$$$ - Time to Deliver Health Reform

Here's a few facts about health care I thought I would share since pro health care reform videos are always lacking.

46 million people don't have health insurance - 16% of the population

33% of those people make more than 50k a year and could afford health insurance

33% of the 46 million people who are uninsured are eligible for medicaid.

They are poor, but are not signing up for medicaid because it's just not worth their time.

20% of the 46 million are not even citizens

of the 46 million about 30% of them will be without insurance for less than a year.

These are people who are young and have either not gotten out of college, or their first job.

What we need to do is fix the cost of health care by allowing price competition.

it's making money on us!

this bill wouldn't work in the U.S.

maybe for a few years or so, but then a huge working force will be retired, & then what? there's not gonna be enough workers left to pay taxes, taxes would rise dramatically, a lot of pissed off people, really, what they should do is regulate the prices of health insurance, and make it reasonable, with a reasonable health coverage.

Oh please. This bill is so horrible it is ridiculous. Health Insurance companies have Pelosi in their pocket and it shows. The companies will just dump all the costly patients on the government and have unheard of profits.

This isn't reform. It is replacement.

The insurance lobbyists cry out in desperation. The oppressive republicans are shattered and divided within their own party, and Owens won in New York. The conservative fascists will be defeated again and again until they vanish.

let the reform flourish and those that oppose it will maybe finally lose the over 100 year war on health insurance. People our current way isnt working how will doing the exact same thing help?
